To me, Chie will always be one of the bros. Yukiko laughing at the most absurd stuff does tend to get old after awhile, and well she may be attractive physically, she can be somewhat dry. Naoto, can't romance her, because she and Kanji work so well, Rise to me, at least, is best girl, because she has that cheerful, perky energy, she's not very shy about her affections and wears it on her sleeve, and she's not afraid to be sexy.

Ashley S true but the game hints that : chie is kinda tsundere with yosuke, and he was impressed when he saw her at the swimsuit competition. Kanji likes naoto BEFORE knowing that he was a she (making him believe he was gay). Teddie is a womanizer ,while rise is kinda sluty. Meanwhile yukiko doesn't pay attention to men, until she meets Yu.

Nah. Yosuke has chance with Labrys or Yu. Chie genuine stated fact that she would never be into him, same platonic siblings dynamic at most as Eikichi, Lisa in p2 and Junpei, Yukari in p3. The bro characters like Eikichi, Junpei, Yosuke perv on everyone. It's no chance and they are all incompatible as it can get. Lisa, Yukari, Chie say genuine the same and is genuine straight up uncomfortable with the idea. It isn't hard to see the same dynamic or characterization. Fact is they would never be into each other. Eikichi, Junpei, Yosuke like traditional feminine girls and not tomboyish snappy girls who are their basic sisters like Lisa, Yukari, Chie.

@@SteinarrBattlefist No. Troy Baker voiced Kanji in vanilla Persona 4 and Golden along with Arena. He also voiced the character in the first half of the anime. Matthew Mercer voiced the second half of the anime because Troy went for his honeymoon at that time. Starting from Persona Q and Arena Ultimax, Matt took over the role of the character because Troy went on to become a mainstream voice actor.

@@Jarock316 No, it's Troy Baker. Troy WAS available when they did Golden: it was recorded in mid/late 2012 and Troy was still doing anime stuff well into 2012. The second season of the anime was recorded AFTER Golden and by a totally different studio. Atlus's PR Manager explicitly confirmed at E3 2012 that only Chie and Teddie have new Voices in Golden. Troy even confirmed on Twitter a while back that he reprised Kanji in Golden. Please do your research before spreading misinformation, thank you. (Also Troy and Matt sound pretty different anyways: the Kanji in this scene is CLEARLY Baker: the inflections and speech patterns (the way he talks, emotes, places emphasis) are very much Troy's inflections).

They always share canon romantic moments.The lovers arcana is usually given to the poster girl, the girly type of character. I also used to think the lovers arcana is the canon girl, but P5 kinda debunked it.

@@jinnimoo If you want to get technical, Atlus makes hints with each girl having a low key romantic moments with the protagonist. That's to keep all players happy. But on the subject of me playing the game, I have invested over 1000 total hours into the game, I have individual save files for each romance route, and I still come to the conclusion that Ann is the most encouraged for the player to date. With evidence between cutscenes, Mementos quotes, the confidant route, the official manga, and Atlus' history with the Lovers arcana, I can rest my case. But with that said, I'll freely admit that 'P5: The Animation' definitely pushed for Makoto x Protag. But we don't talk about the animation, and that's another story, lol
