Tetsuhiko Asai was the legendary Karate master in Japan. He has met his eternal sleep on, August 15, 2006 as of Age 71. This video was televised at his funeral on a rainy day in, Gokokuji-Temple, Tokyo. As for Tetsuhiko Asai`s tremendous contribution, his legacy is filming as a movie right now, for detail, please see the link below !

すっご……。美しい。武術の事何もわからないのに涙が出てきて止まらない。素人ながらこれが芸術の域に達してるのは理解できる。最近娘さんが出演されてる動画をよく見るので、どんな方なんだろうと思ったら、完全に想像を超えてた……。

It is a great pleasure to watch katas performed by true masters. These katas are different than katas of champions from current competitions. I would say these katas are alive.

Dear Master Tetsuhiko Asai, Awful sorry, for the spelling error I made in wiritng your name. It was unintentional, out of being moved of your early departure into the eternity. We wish, we could have enjoyed your presence for longer period. But the Almighty has decided to have you on His side. My condolence to the family and followers as well. Paul

There is no "Almighty" in the Buddhist pantheon. You are using a Judeo-Christian Theological term for someone who was either a Taoist, Shintoist, a Buddhist or a combination of all three. There is no belief of a "Personal Almighty God" and even in the Middle Eastern Jewish Religion, "God" or the Almighty isn't known to cause an early death because He's anxious to see them in His Realm! Sorry. Reincarnation or Annihilation is what's usually believed. Of course that's also mere speculation. It's all a question of Authorityand which teachings you deem to be credible.

Sensei ASAI a ete une legende vivante pour le passe,le present et le future,j;ai la chance de m'entrainer un laps e temps avec lui au japon en 1973 ET 1977;je l'avait revue pour la derniere fois au Caire en 1983 lors des 4emes Championnats du Monde de karate I.A.K.F.Ou nous avons passe toute une nuit a l'hotel Hayet Rengency,a discuter du karatedo.Cette nuit la, restera gravee a jamais dans ma memoire de karateka.Sensei Mouloud LATRECHE,Chef Instructeur: Algeria Union Shotokan-J.K.A.
