They played a little too fast. I personally think this song is supposed to be played at the tempo of a warm hemi Cuda engine idling

Think it’s the drums being played too fast and the others trying to keep up. Drum sets the tempo for the rest of the group and they probably couldn’t hear?

@@liv9839 In an interview Homme stated they often sped up songs during live performances just to try something different for fun. It was a group decision, not at anyone's fault due to skill.

@@alanaguilar3068 you are wrong. Mid tenor rather than mid alto? Haha, I don't think you know what that means if you are confusing his singing here with that. He simply "can't hear it" (his monitors, pun intended) and that's why he says "can you make it a bit more muffled?" before he starts - he is being sarcastic as he probably can't hear himself.
