HD Railfanning CSX & NECR in Palmer MA - & CSX in West Springfield MA - 7/14/2012

NECR had a switcher working Palmer, switching cuts in their yard then seen dropping off the interchange for CSX and proceeding back light to their yard. Also a two unit - two car train arrived to the NECR yard from the North - not sure of any of the ID's of their trains.
Got to Palmer bright and early (6am) on this warm Saturday! Was there until after 1pm before heading to West Springfield.
The light move on CSX was one of the most surprising / exciting for me! :D
Also the sighting of 6215 (YN2) in W. Springfield was quite exciting!
Had a great time railfanning the B&A - met a lot of nice people and enjoyed some great food at the Famous Steaming Tender Restaurant!! A great day all the way around!!

Awesome, Excellent video my friend!! you got some GREAT angles of all the action this day! I absolutely love the speed that the CSX trains go through there! I love the angle you got at 3:52 of the diamond! That was a very interesting one. GReat horn solute from the intermodel at 5:02! CSX Crews are definetly one of the friendlyest to railfans. Speaking of horrns, I didn't know that locomotives could have 2 horns on it like #417 had. I can't belive that engine move either! That was amazing!!

i have to say that at 15:10, it sounded like a guitar from a rockstar band. From the wheels grinding on the rails. VEry nice angles of all the switching from NECR! I really enjoyed! They must be very cautious with switchong over that diamond and time it right to get out of the way for any freights on the Main. I really liked the view of the trains from inside the resturaunt too! Very inteesting angle! You also pulled a CabooseMikey :D XD Great job filming alll the action, Dan!! :)
