boulders are FREE building materials!! You need a used backhoe with a thumb attachment so you can move those boulders to make fences, driveway markers, and raised beds.

We will be doing aircrete mix this winter using styrofoam for non heat application and chicken wire reinforced. Foundry application requires water glass and water mix for the foam cement slurry

You’re gonna need those boulders for retaining walls. It looks like you’re gonna need them to hold your dirt/pad in place. Good luck, beautiful piece of property. I bet your kiddos will find some old artifacts. God bless y’all.

Your soil looks fabulous! I started my homestead a year ago. Soil is clay, lots of work ahead to get it into shape. I’m planning to use your air crete panels for a shed, a greenhouse foundation wall, a root cellar/storm cellar. Priority now is a rocket mass heater. I don’t know how soon you’ll be making them again, but I’m going to get the pdf and pray I can do it myself. You’ll love homesteading, it’s wonderful!

While you're doing your rough site preparations don't forget about water management. Since you are on a slope you want to make certain water flows around your yard, not through it. Maybe even a dugout for water storage, maybe even use it as the ground loop for a heat pump. How are the building codes in your area? Are you going to be able to build the way you want, or are there restrictions? Have you got a general site development map roughed out showing the location of all your proposed buildings? I'm excited for your journey. Have fun, and share your adventure with us, it's why we're here. Are you going to use a rocket stove or heat pump for heat, and pv for power, are you going to be grid tied? Do you have good cell service there? Prospects for internet, distance to schools or home schooling? I foresee many video opportunities in your future. 100,000 subs coming soon! Congratulations!

you know rainbows don't actually end anywhere though right? if you move to the side, the place it "ends" moves as well. It's just an optical illusion.

I really like what you are doing and when I get my piece of property, I am going to make an air Crete house, I have just started watching your videos so don't know everything you tried but I say another person's video where he used ground up Styrofoam to bring up the R factor which also lightened the panels weight, but with a couple coats of plaster like you did made it solid and strengthened the structural integrity of the panels. Have you thought about this? If not, maybe you could look into it. Keep up the great work.... Also, where can I get the interlocking wall panels (the tongue and groove system) Are you going to start creating them.

Uhm…… are you going to bring in fill? Cause you just made your roads lower than the surrounding soil, so your roads/driveways will be creeks in every rain. For a ten foot wide road one should be cutting a sixteen to twenty foot wide swath, pushing the soil from outer three to five feet on both sides up onto center ten feet leaving ditches alongside for runoff and a higher road than outside the ditches on which to lay several inches of gravel…. It looked like your area for your pads are lower than the surrounds, too… i agree you shouldn’t build over topsoil, but you need to scrape what’s below up onto the actual pad so that the pad sits above the surrounding soil. If those buildings were going to have basements it would be a slightly different story, but I’m doubting the shop is. If not you can still cut ditches to guide rain runoff around the buildings, but make sure you cut the ditches before you get too far along in construction or you’re going to pour a pad and then watch it slide half way down the hill in a rain storm… I’m hoping I just haven’t seen the completion of the dozer work…
