The HDMI matrix is also called the HDMI video matrix; in simple terms, the HDMI matrix is a multi-input and multi-output device that integrates HDMI distribution and HDMI switching functions. It can output multiple HDMI signals at the same time, and it can also output 1 HDMI signal. Distributed into multiple outputs. Common HDMI video matrices generally support panel switch control and infrared remote control switch control; some HDMI matrices support RS232 control, LAN connection control, SPDIF optical digital audio output, external IR infrared input, etc.
An HDMI switch takes multiple sources (say a games console, a PC, Apple TV, and so on and outputs via a single cable to your PC monitor, TV, or projector. An HDMI splitter takes a single source and sends it to multiple screens say a PC monitor and a 4K TV at the same time.

Hey there! Question... I have, two inputs and two outputs. First input is a PC, second is a Laptop, and then two monitors to output to. I'd like to be able to switch between the PC and Laptop, without having to unplug so the matrix looks like the best option. Can I still extend displays with this option? I haven't finished the video so maybe this will answer it for me 🤣

But this video is contrary to your product offering, you have a switch/splitter that has 2 outputs?

I have a question, lets say I’m on disney+ on both tv’s would i be able to change the movies between the 2 displays if they are in separate rooms. Lets say one display is on a cartoon and the other is on a series?

What’s the RS232 for? What is it for? What is the reason it’s available/there for?

Hello, I have a projector that does not support hdmi arc(viewsonic x2 4k) and I have a soundbar that supports hdmi arc. Can I connect the two to each other with HDMI matrix? (hdmi matrix device has hdmi arc output)

I have been looking to find an array of HDMI repeaters, sort of like a patch bay, would you happen to know what to look for? I'm struggling to find anything online
