I am a little unclear on something. Is it correct to say that HDzero signal can be sent from the Event VRX via the composite OUT to the Owl dvr box, or can this only be done for feeds with analog signal?

What I found really interesting is you mentioned putting one left hand & one right hand patch on the antenna ports actually gave the best performance - normally one would never purposely do that. Any ideas on why this is? I assume this was the HDZero that worked better with that setup, right? And would it then also be a good idea to use a left-hand antenna for one or two of the antennas on a normal HDZero VRX?

Many racers (including heads-up himself, when he still used analog) would run a RHCP and a LHCP on the diversity, to gain maximum multi path reception. This is fine, as long as there are only the 8 pilots up. In theory, you should be able to get 16 pilots (race band + RH & LH polarisation). The HDzero diversity switching is different, you’d need someone much more knowledgeable abt the tech than me. But running both polarisations isn’t uncommon in racing.

Man, HDZero is really running away with it. Now that DJI is going to be permanently locked to 700mw moving forward, it's going to be more and more a compelling product.
