What a good and kind father he is even the kid are not in his blood but he treat the two of theme like he's own son 🤧🤧🤧 now I miss my father 😭😭😭

It was heartbreaking that in the eyes of society, they were nothing but strangers because they didn't share an ounce of blood nor did they have official paperwork designating they were family. Yet to these boys..and to Li Hai Chao and Li Jian Jian they were all each others' lifelines. Every happiness, every teardrop, every heartache they endured and shared with each other. To these boys, whose own mothers broke and scarred them and whose families always come to them declaring they are owed something when they turned their backs on these boys, having Li Hai Chao and Li Jian Jian in their lives was the only way they survived and vise versa.

This drama and Reply 1988 are to me the best dramas, bittersweet portrayal of family and friendship, warm and loving. Made me cry and love all the characters like i know them personally.

Some great movies have a scene that the audience can never get over it how many times we watch it...this is one of them....amazing performance 👏

My favourite scene. I never seen feelings n family like this. It's melting my heart. It shows in relation love n care is more important than blood.

I rewatched this scene with the dad trying to sooth the kid to not crying. He's been abandoned so many times that it's soooo heart breaking. Unfortunately his story just reflects some of the traumas that children in really poor regions in China, where the wife or dad just abandons the family because the financial stability is weak. Children are precious and shouldn't have to deal with hardships. And it comes to show that if people aren't ready (mentally and emotionally), they can't provide a happy, stable (I don't mean just money wise) family. I've seen families that stuck together even though the parents were working all the time. They brought their kid along (I do understand not every workplace allows that) to where they go. Maybe it's not going to be in this lifetime, but perhaps in another lifetime, each workplace or the office building they work in can provide discounted or free daycare so parents' can be near their children and still provide the proper care needed. Or maybe provide that as an alternative option to people who do not want to take the full 6-8 months of parental leave. I think it's always good to give people choices.

I wish that my father had been like this. Kindness and love like this is so rare. Can't help but cry.
