7 жыл бұрынSo the Big Boy decided to go make a purchase on a new vehicle with very little heads up. I think he just found a car that he fell in love with. Big Boy loves cars and I think every since he sold the WRX he has missed the life of cars. He sweats my skyline and GTR a ton. I think he wanted to be back in the drivers seat of the car game and put of the white pick up. The car Big Boy got is very BIG BOY. S14.5 is an S14 with S15 front end. You can RB or SR or LS swap them. Would still be an S14.5

kirby4041994 he got into what seemed like peak boost a few times... definitely short shifted a handful... tune might be iffy AFR might be off in the high rpms... multiple reasons. I think most people just expect this car to be 800whp on 30psi and break loose in 3rd gear... lol

kirby4041994 i was thinking the exact same thing. it was a drift car so the tires might be destroyed plus it might have a locked/welded diff and when he hits boost it might break loose.

big boy you need to get in high rpm's so you can hit full boost and feel how fast your car is. you shift soon as you start to spool let it spool and hit full boost

A car built to drift is dangerous to over rev if you don't know how to handle the power. Big boy would fish tail and flip the car if he goes too hard with it too soon, you have to learn how the car drives before you can handle the beast.

i'd dream for a GTR cause a 240 is affordable for anyone with a job no matter what you get paid you can save up for a 240 but it would take years to save up for a GTR working minimum wage. don't dream for something you can get quite easily. but 240's are my fav car for sure i just wouldn't dream for something easily achievable.

because its a rb swapped silvia it most likely has either A: got no tach or B: still has the 4 cylinder tach which would read 6k when its only actually at 4k. big boy probably thought he was driving it way harder than he was lol typical silvia problems haha

festa289 doesn't matter what tach is in it.. a tach is a tach 4k is 4k and 6k is a 6k it wouldn't say it's at 4k when the motors really at 6 due to a swap... it's just a signal. it either works or it doesn't... probably on a half assed tune afr is probably wonky

An S14.5 is such a nice car. Even though it looks beat, it is such a great project and can look so nice, not to mention what great engines can go in an s-body.
