My cobbler tells me horror stories of how people treat their expensive shoes. I take care of my shoes as if they were my children. A lot can be avoided just with shoe trees, cream and a brush. Nevertheless, what a great job on both shoes. I have a question, is it possible to achieve a high mirror shine on the cap toe after all the sanding and leather binder? I always shine my toes and heels as it looks great however, the protection factor is most important. And loved the kids learning the trade, what a beautiful thing to witness. All the best from London.

It is always fascinating how it is possible to abuse shoes like this. It looks like they have been worn in a war or something like. Luckily there are pro's like Marcus who have the knowledge to perform a rescue mission.

Very impressive. What kind of leather binder do you use? I have tried saphir renovatrice filler but i cant really match the leather to the fillers high gloss and painting over it doesnt seem to do the trick either.
