My mom and I played "The Entertainer" as a duet often when I was younger. On the same piano, though. She passed away in 1995 when I was 26 and I really miss playing with her. Catching this reel made my day today. Beautifully done!

The piano player went through with it, although it would’ve been way easier to tell him he was in the wrong for interrupting, and harder to go along with him unexpectedly. Just appreciating the beauty it offers sometimes is enough .

For years I always thought that me my brother and my mom and my sister were the only ones that could play the piano in my family. One day after church we all go upstairs to our rooms and to our surprise my dad is playing this song on the piano FLAWLESSLY all by himself!!!! We all went running downstairs and just stood there and listened!! It was BEAUTIFUL! My sister asked how long he knew that his reply.. high school. I was shocked!! But gotta say he pretty good!
