People tend to forget that even if your job is saving people, you still want to live like a person. It's not about the responsability, it's about coming out after saving someone to comfort instead of a dead end place where you csn be stabbed at anytime and you struggle to get food. What is the point of being a hero if you starve and die becuase people think all you need is a 'thank you' and that you're doing it only based on good will? You can't pay groceries with good will, neither a house, a ceiling, not even water, it's a death sentence to be only a hero all the time.

This feels almost like a twist on the dynamic/Complex between Batman and Dick Grayson AKA the original Robin. I don’t know much about this show but Maybe Henry will return to heroing with a new Identity like Dick did as Nightwing. and who knows maybe some shadowy government organization might take some of Captain man’s DNA, use it to change someone else’s reproductive DNA, giving Captain man a son he didn’t know about who years later in some Cyberpunk version of the city they protect when Captain Man has long since retired this new character discovers his secret identity and becomes Captain Man Beyond.
