This is the third movie recap I see where the parent is purposely deteriorating their child. Like with in the movie “RUN”-where the girls mom gives her dog meds in order to keep her close, and Gypsy Rose, whose mom also immobilizes her and tells her mistruth about the care that’s being received.

This kinda reminds me of the old early 90s movie Nell with Jodie Foster but not really because Nell was about a girl shut off from the outside world and completely held in captivity and doesn't even know how to speak good movie haven't seen it in years I was also a kid when I saw it but wow I feel old lol 😂
