Oh God, I have the hardest time staying awake in my barber's chair. Haircuts have always been extremely relaxing to me. I especially have a hard time if I go after work and after a long day. I don't know if it will actually work but it might be worth a try 4k. Get a (neck brace) and put in on the client to keep their head up and when you get to the back neck line just undo it.
