In this video Adam shows you how to gain more yards by building a structured rotation. By properly rotating to the top, you build coil as well as connection! At Porzak golf we create a set up that prevents you from injuring your lower back. We do this by initiating the hip bum at address and emphasizing rotating in your spine angle! Try these drills and feels and let us know what you think!

Mike Austin. Hips move like a bell clapper. Joe Dante, Bob Toski and others promote this move. Took me 3 years to undo what you’re teaching to get my swing to a kinesiologically age friendly swing. I never had an honest 300 yarder in 45 years of golf until I adopted the Austin method. At 67 I was carrying 280. Homer Kelley- over a million ways to hit a ball.

Hahaha thank you! Will is a great ball striker, unfortunately his move was putting a lot of stress on his body. That is a huge benefit of what we do, the swing with the least amount of manipulation also puts the least amount of stress on your body and is a swing that can last a life time !

Crunch versus stretch! A golden nugget for me. I tend to arch my back at setup instead of setting up with a flat back. When my back arches the only thing I can do from there is crunch. My strikes are so much better after working on this. Thanks for sharing your wisdom

8:50: "You have to lose control to gain control." So true. I've always felt that this is one of the primary keys to unlocking a good swing. I've always felt this way, but I've called it the "trust factor." So many golfers never make a full turn and backswing because, psychologically, the further the club gets away from the ball, the less the mind trusts that the club will get back to a position to strike the ball. In fact, the opposite is true. When I finally learned to "let go" and make a full and powerful shoulder turn, I immediately stopped trying to steer the club, and my swing started to click. That full turn, in addition to putting the club in the correct position at the top of the backswing, creates extra centrifugal force, which naturally helps the clubhead return to where it needs to be.

I stumbled upon Porzax a few month ago. Watched his content along with many others. Decided last week I was gonna try the bump since I’m always stuck on my back foot with all my long clubs causing snappers. Presetting a the post was great. Broke 90 for the second time in two and a half years on a course I haven’t played. I feel getting this down then working on the turn will help me a lot.

Jack Nicklaus at 83+ years of age as one of the honorary starters this year at the masters is a good example of keeping the golf club in front of the body. He can barely tee up the ball, and makes a much shorter version of his iconic swing, but it certainly looked like pretty solid form and contact. Fun to watch.

One thing I've noticed in all of these videos is how different my lead shoulder is compared to you and your students' demonstrations. When I take my arms back, it looks like my shoulder is basically choking me. It doesn't actually feel like that, though. I'm seeing a much bigger between chin and shoulder during these vids. Not sure how this impacts my golf swing at all, but I'm starting to believe I should correct what I'm doing.

Start by making sure you are tilted over your belt at address. This will help the shoulder turn a little down to your trail foot as your shoulders turn perpendicularly to your spine! A shoulder into chin can mean your standing to upright
