I’ve never been in a toxic relationship (I’ve never even been in a relationship- I’m twelve, lmao) but I still don’t understand why people would think it’s hot?? Like, do they find people’s silent suffering hot? Do they think that being abused and manipulated is hot?? I don’t get it- why? Where did they even make that connection in their mind?! I’m just appalled that people would even think that way. But let’s be honest it’s not any of our business what other people think about. If they think being abused is hot, they can go right ahead and think that way. That doesn’t mean I won’t believe they need to be put in a mental asylum or at least extreme therapy, but I think those people will learn their lesson eventually.. even if it hurts my heart a little to see even people like that be treated so lowly.

Enjoyment is not consent, and unless they give full consent it still considered as rape ^_^ (I am not trying to be mean btw, I am just trying to spread informations/awareness. tbh, you can have a relationship with arguments,as long as you can move on from them and forgive them, but manipulation, miscommunication, and lack of trust is not something to look for in a relationship. There are honestly two cases for someone to be saying that: • People are often attracted to toxic/traumatizing experience/traits (? I don't know how to word it well) because of trauma response. Or the person saying that is just a masochist (and I can assure you they know whay they are saying, doesn't make it okay) • In other cases, it's most likely that the person saw too many piece of fiction that romanticized these. Or they just don't know what they are talking about Honestly I think in both case, they all need help. Hopefully they will get it and sending all my support to everyone that's struggling rn
