7:00 "Notice how he never tries to go for the heavies" Same reason why trolldiers tend to avoid heavies. Heavies are a hard counter to demoknight. You can kill them occasionally, but it'd be more wiser to just ignore them. You live longer that way lol

There are 3 shields and 4 swords for Demoman. "The Chargin Targe" is the most basic. The upsides are that it has good resistance against fire and blast damage. You can't turn while charging (Unless you are wearing Ali Baba's Wee Booties or The Bootlegger) and at the end of a charge, you have a 100% to deal critical damage (if your charge is not at the end, you will deal a mini-crit). "The Splendid Screen" is the most used one. This shield also has resistances, but not as strong. Your shield bash deals more damage and the charge recovers faster. "The Tide Turner" has not so great resistances, but you can turn with this shield, plus you gain back 60% of your charge if you kill someone. The swords: "The Eylander" (The most used in this video) takes away 25 hp of total health, but you gain a counter for heads. 1 head increases your total health by 15 (I think) and also increases your speed. The first 5 heads give these bonuses, others don't. EDIT: Oh and you can steal heads from other Demoknights by killing them (Enemy Demoknight has 10 heads, you kill him and get 10 heads). "The Persian Persuader" lets you recharge your charge by picking up ammo packs, but it decreases total reserve ammo for your primary and secondary weapons. "The Half-Zatoichi" upon killing someone heals you the same amount of halved total health of a class you killed (In layman's terms, you kill a Heavy (300 hp), you get heal ed 150 hp). If you try to sheath the sword without killing any one, you take damage. You can also insta-kill another Demoman or Soldier wielding a Half-Zatoichi. "The Cladehmor" increases total charge time by 0.5 seconds, but you take more damage while you have it equipped.

With the eyelander: with no heads (aka kills with your sword) you will have 25 less health than a normal demoman, but with every head you get health and speed and you deal more damage when charging into someone. The bonuses cap out at 5 heads tho so it’s not too overpowered

I once met a guy on 2Fort who played demoknight and he had almost 50 heads on his eyelander. Sadly it wasn’t killstreak but he had like 6 dominations. Guess how he died? A medic with a blutsauger.

So demoman and soldier can rocket jump and some demomains use the sticky jumper which doesn't harm you and flings you in the air Or they trimp with the shields (if you wanna trimp i'd reccomend using the tide turner.)

Trimping is for flanking and getting picks. Just running in is how you can pubstomp if you play it right. But also it's easy to counter a demoknight if you work together as a team.

I played against solar light couples days ago in a Faceit match and it was absurd how good he was. Like legit. Everytime when he pushed the cart towards the 2 point you can just hear him charging up behind us to take out are back medic that had full Uber.

He isn't attacking heavies most of the time because usually heavy is a hard counter to Demoknight. Like literally, demoknight needs to stay close to his enemy and have more hp than them, and the last thing any sane person except for a spy desires is to stand next to a heavy with his minigun ready.

in case you didn't know solar also holds the world record for the fastest upward in the game from blue first spawn to red final spawn. i think hes done it in like 15 seconds.

about both rounds being on defense, the players on the offensive side respawn quicker than the players on defense and since he's getting a killstreak it will be easier on defense

Killstreaks have less trimps as they are fancy but risky plays that can easily get you killed. To get killstreaks you need to play smart and safe enough. Also soldier simple? Soldier is easy to do decent on which is why he is recommended as a starter class. So I dont mind people calling him easy cause that is kind of true. But if you jump off the deep end on the mechanics side he is one of the most complicated characters. Mainly because of rocket jumping. Ctabs, pogos, wallshots, speedshots, syncs, bounces. Out of these Id say only bounces are not that useful in an actual game. Though stuff like syncs are really situational. Oh and most of these branch out to even more stuff so these are just category of a type of rocket jump names.

One of the characters says "I, [character name], have a dream," before going on a monologue, and combined with the Jojo music used in the video, one can be reasonably sure it's a Jojo reference. 60 just happens to be a really high number in terms of a killstreak. Also, you massively overestimated the importance of Solarlight in that last match. One man going on a massive killstreak won't win his team the game, especially if the kills are spaced out away from the objective. So long as BLU team has a few people on that kart, they're making progress.

Looks like you still have no idea about damage numbers in TF2, so: A regular melee hit deals 65 damage A mini-crit one deals 88 damage And a crit one deals 195 damage If you swing at the first moments of your charge you will deal a mini-crit If you charge longer you will deal a crit But if you use the tide turner you won't be able to get the full crit, unlike Chargin'Targe and Splendid Screen The Eyelander increases your speed, shield damage and max health by 15hp for the first 4 enemies you've decapitated So that's basically why you should fight a Heavy, he has 300 hp or even 450 with a medic's overheal and hus minigun will shred you up close
