IBF heavyweight mandatory challenger Filip Hrgovic has been linked to fight Anthony Joshua for quite some time now but Joshua has went in every direction but the direction of the Croation. Hrgovic has had enough and wants his shot at AJ to prove his greatness to the world in the heavyweight division. @@asmrnaturecat984 Usyk's team wanted to fight Hrgovic in Febuary 17 due to Tyson Fury suffering a cut, but the Saudis denied the request because they were kinda afraid, I mean if Usyk lost to Hrgovic, the undisputed fight they invested so much in would be gone, the other scenario would be Usyk winning but suffering an injury in the fight which would've further postponed the undisputed fight, that's why they were not keen on making the Usyk-Hrgovic fight as a replacement

Hrgovic is forgetting he went life and death with Joyce while Joshua beat him easily in one round by stoppage …nothings handed to you Joshua set himself up , Hrgovic was also robbed with Olympic gold . It’s a great fight in fact I think he’s Joshua’s most dangerous opponent but everyone wants to see a title fight between the two not just a random fight it’s to big to just make fir nothing particularly Joshua who gets the winner of Fury vs Usyk . Hrgovic vs Parker makes sense if Zhang didn’t have the rematch clause .

The winner of a Joshua-Hrgovic fight would get elevated to IBF champion because the mandatory is already due, and Usyk-Fury has a remacth clause. Meaning, the rematch won't be for undisputed, because the IBF title will get stripped off the winner after the first fight and given to the number one contender. So out of all the fights AJ can take, Hrgovic is the best option.

This guy’s a savage. World champion in the junior in 2010 ahead of Yoka and Parker. In 2016 he was the best heavyweight in the olympic and got robbed in one of the most controversial amateur fight I have ever seen. No doubt he’ll be world champion one day. People say he might have lost against Zhang but his father just passed away fiew days before. I’m sure he would have destroyed him in his best days. Aesthetically Hrgovic doesn't look impressive but he won't be a push over for AJ. Hrgovic actually has one of the best chins in the division and is very heavy handed. AJ is quicker/more athletic and Hrgovic is too upright. In terms of AJ getting everything on a plate, he earned it because he was thrown into the deep end early in his career and the gamble paid off! plus it helps when you're very marketable and a sponsors dream

Dubois, it was the fight that put the spotlight on Hrgovic. Honestly, other than an unfortunate punch, I don't see him losing. Dubois is not agile on these legs, he has no head and hip movement, he is not aware of distance and because of that he is a colossus with feet of clay. he's got punch and good combination, he is tuf man but his style to shine is Miller, clinch fighting.

He gets everything on a plate because he worked his ass off after almost going to prison for the kind of life he was living. He became a big star by knocking out people and aligning with the best promotional company for him. These guys like Hrgovic have no charisma nor do they have a knack for promotion and business. I mean, is he going around gyms training little kids, doing community events, giving talks at universities? These guys don't understand that the business of boxing takes place outside the ring to an even greater extent than inside.
