If you liked this story: there is a similar Western book series by David Weber called "Safehold", with the first book being called "Off Armageddon Reef". Instead of an isekai'd human engineer, the main character is a lone (basically isekai'd) android who has to secretly prepare a lost human colony with tech and eventually defeat a church that is suppressing tech. He has to do it carefully, though, because both he and the church know that if tech progresses too quickly, the species that previously wiped out the rest of humanity may detect the colony.

However this story has little courage to going to it's own direction in comparison to many other isekai or reincarnation stories: the chance to protagonist to make mistakes. Everything the protagonist will do will always succeed. He will not fail and even if there are some hiccups but he will always gets what he wants and no backslash will comenthat will harm him in the long run. That takes a lot of preasure and exitment from thebstory because reader will know that protagonist will always succeed without any worry.

So technically the MC still have a huge leading edge given black powder is not as energetic compared to the eventual gunpowder that can be use in guns and rifles that by themselves is also a development from hand cannons and fire lances which by themselves took centuries to develop.

They do have gunpowder as in "snowpowder" but it is a slow burning type mostly used for celebration purposes which only starts to be used in warfare by the time of the story so yes, fireworks would technically be possible.

Awesome.I stayed here 2 hours, enjoying this story And the moderatization Being added in to a really old time. Plus the neat twists and plots Makes this very interesting. Also like it's not very sexual So far so good, it's a great story. And it seems like instead of playing games today. I'll be watching all of this in the next video
