Having dreds for 14 years, and then getting them cut off, had to be traumatic. I was impressed with how gentle and careful you were throughout the entire process. You brought this man into the modern world in great style.

I had been perming my hair strait for 25 years, When I cut all the permed hair off it felt freeing! And this guy looked like he felt free and his confident level was up, he did not act nor look traumatized. He looked like he felt like he could conquer the world!

This man didn't take care of his locs. You don't have to have buildup. I know. I wore locs for 11 years. I went to the shop when the locs needed tightening. I washed in-between shop visits. I used apple cider vinegar + to get rid of buildup. Locs need to be taken care of just like all other hair styles.

Thank you!! I know that this is a misconception and stereotype that people generally get about locs. Just because it’s styled in a different formation doesn’t mean it can’t be maintained and clean as other loose hairstyles. It’s all about education and actually wanting to maintain them.

I wore my locks for 12 years. They were pencil size and hip length. Maintenance became difficult, as well as neck pain and headaches. It's been 10 years and my natural hair is 12 inches long. Wash and wear and go. Easy.......❤ He looks great.😊

First of all, your voice is so soothing, so amazing. The way you cut those dreads and cradle them in your hand with the upmost respect says everything about your endearing self. Your skills are off the flipping charts… that haircut, and that beard and mustache trim, first of all, the man was so handsome to begin with, but I was blown away by the transformation…. son, you are brilliant, brilliant!
