The story of Holocaust Survivor Binyamin Englman. Englman was born in Budapest, Hungary. Following the occupation of Hungary by Nazi Germany, Englman was sent with his family to the Budapest ghetto. After their escape from the ghetto, Englman and his brother hid in ruined apartments, eventually reaching the diplomatically protected "Glass House” in the final weeks before liberation.

The story of Prof.Binyamen Englman, though short, is very effective, very touching. Glad to learn that he survived the horrors of World War 2. Prof. Binyamen must be 94 now.I wish him peaceful years ahead. The sketches illustrated in this video are superb and amazing !! Thanks ' Yad Vashem ' for reviving and for preserving Binyamen's lifestory for posterity !!

Thank you for having the courage to share about your experiences. The eyes of a child over the age of 3 can often see far more than what adults are seeing at the time. I remember a professor in a university class warning us once about how which nation is allied with which can change over time. All so unpredictable. No wonder the Lord Jesus Christ is recorded in the New Testament as saying, "The son of man has no where to lay down his head." Was that from one of the Psalms? I have yet to learn where if that is true. All I know for sure about that is people who demand adherance to politcal belief systems like Mao Tse Tung did in Communist China abhor any study of any text said to be sacred. When they are saying only at first insisting that worship of our creator be strictly kept separate from state. When a nurse warns a family member to be aware of how their relative is being targetted in the nursing home only because of what she looks like while being Christian what are we to do? When allegedly not looking Jewish too. While some people are telling us we are Jewish. .No one should ever forget the Holocaust.
