Emmanuel Augustus was a great boxer who got cheated by judges more than anyone I’ve ever seen….I did say “I”…He clearly beat most of the boxers he ever faced but by not knocking them out he gave those crooked judges the opportunity to do what they do….I believe that this kid with his knockout power will be able to be more successful….i honor him for paying homage to my all time favorite boxer…God bless him

Well it rewards talent. Like you said people are used to traditional style and they get good with alot of experience and repetition. If ur more talented and less experienced being unorthodox is a good thing. Facing a title holder while being the underdog you either win by being better and you replace them as the best or you can win becouse ur style is good into theirs and ur not necessarily better all around. Also if ur only way to win is to get lucky becouse ur worse that will favor an unorthodox style unless for some reason you dont carry power.

This is Ben Whittaker a British fighter. Currently 6-0 and has 5 TKOS. Won silver at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. he’s is one to look for.

Ok, so I'm not a boxing fan so I don't know the rules. But 6-0, but only got silver?? Doesn't the Olympics count?

@NordicDartfrog Olympics athletes are only "amateurs". I'm guessing the 6 and 0 refers to his pro record.

I've only ever seen him embarrassing this 1guy, put him in with a real fighter, who would take him apart when trying to pull that nonsense.
@Cartis-jy5dc Ай бұрын
Me personally I wouldn't care. This guy is amazing and he actually brings a breath of fresh air into boxing. He does his own thing and doesn't let the trends and laws of boxing get to him and just does what he wants, which makes watching him fight very bloody entertaining. Unlike all the other boxers that just do lame punches and fight without color or style.

He's no joke, lightweight silver medalist. But keep in mind, the guy he's fighting was 10W 13L on a solid losing streak. If he's smart, he drops down to middleweight. The contenders at light heavyweight will floor this guy if he thinks he can fight hands down at that level
@Kayluv101 Ай бұрын
I was gonna say this dude he’s fighting is absolutely awful..He didn’t throw a single body shot this entire clip and there was so many openings.. Bens not that good to me his body is gonna get punished when he fights someone that knows how to actually box.. Canelo would cripple him..
@mmacouch-potato2418 Ай бұрын
He's in the zone! Respect his style. I remember when Anderson Silva first came to the ufc, and certain fans thought the same way, when bobbed n weave, and danced. Its not disrespectful. It's his style and self confidence. He's totally in tune with his opponents energy and thoughts. In martial arts, it's called being one, with your opponent, where you not only anticipate your opponents moves, but you feel his thoughts, and move accordingly. Most masters call it, being in the zone. If he gets dropped, that's his opponents job in the first place. He came in the ring to beat him. It's art, and entertainment. Remember, today, its called sports & entertainment. Respect greatness.

so the bop on the back of the head wasnt disrespectfull that was like something u see a pet owner to a bold pet .If u dont think this was nothing more than taunting the other fighter u are really at 1 one with your own stupidity .
@mmacouch-potato2418 Ай бұрын
@deppresedonion6320 ., The fact that out of the entire clip, and defensive combat skills demonstrated, your weakass mind can only point to 1 "bop on the back of the head," clearly shows you're an ignorant hater, of a true skill set. Stop typing and embarrassing yourself. It's clear, you never entered the zone in actual hand 2 hand combat. Take yo ass back to the gym, and learn something.
