In the second episode of the Made By Us documentary series, we feature Nigeria's foremost music industry executive, who walked me through his journey of over two decades in the Nigerian music scene. Starting young as a music and social media enthusiast, Bizzle began providing his services to artists like Don Jazzy, US rapper Wale, Dr. Sid, and Naeto C, by opening and designing their MySpace and Facebook pages just at the beginning of the global social media boom.
Bizzle has grown over the years, having worked with the now-defunct Mo’Hits Records to being the first A&R at Mavin Records, and then starting his own company, after advice from Jay Z's cousin, Brian Biggs. His company, The Plug, has managed some of the biggest Afrobeats heavyweights such as Davido, Ckay, and Oxlade, and also now has a sports and film division.
