@@ReverendDr.Thomas Hindu means land between Himalaya and IndSagara ( Indian Ocean). ... So whoever gave the name is not significant. For those people living in India, are they geographically located between Himalaya and Indian Ocean????. So people are called Hindus. So who gave the name is not important. The importance is whether there is substance or meaning in giving such a name. If you are not happy with the word Hindustan then call it Bharat. After all the word Bharat exists in the name of great King Bharat. Bharat name is not gifted by Persia or Arabia.
