Because you can lift one leg to the side at a time, but not both at once to do the splits. (it’s just your brain stopping you with fake pain), so if down syndrome creates differences in the brain, it’s likely they can shut that response off and do the splits immediately. Very cool

I love it. There are good parents out there. I should know, my sons in a special needs program at school, so i get to see a lot of their parents do cool things. Not to toot my own horn, hut i run Halloween every year. My son is Batman every year, and im Robin because im just the sidekick of n awesome dude. For the whole week we dress and visit all of the classroom and hand out candy. We play with the other special needs clasrooms and then the neurotyoical classrooms we play with but also incorporate a lesson on acceptance and awareness of those who are not neurotyoical. This video made me cry. My son will alsways be my hero.

@@axvi9790he has down syndrome, you don’t have to ignore it. just respect him and treat him like you would treat anyone else, keeping in mind that he has down syndrome.
