Weirdest thing: this is kinda similar to Lion-O's real origin story. His planet was self-destructing and everyone fled in spaceships. He was a child, maybe about eight. He and all the other cat characters we see in the show are in one ship, and go into suspended animation for the journey. Something goes wrong with Lion-O's chamber, and when they arrive on the planet where the whole show takes place, he wakes up as a very bewildered, grown-ass man who never finished childhood or had an adolescence o_O A lot of stupid stuff the character does, and the guidance everyone else is always giving him, the fact that he still half-needs Snarf (who is a nanny!) makes more sense if you know that deeply strange plot tidbit. And yes, I realize what a giant nerd I am.

In 4 1/2 minutes, we saw a lonely child whose mother doesn't really want much to do with him make a wish for his toys to come alive - and they did. The toys trashed everything, discovered masturbation, and had a four-way with the kid's mom.

I was waiting for He-Man to sing "HEY-YE-YEAAH, I said hey, WHAT'S GOING ON?" 😅

It’s skits like this where you really see just how good the main cast always is at this. They write to their strengths and deliver their lines perfectly after having done it for so long. Chris Pratt and Arianna Grande are basically just there to look hot and try their best to keep up.
