I love the look and feel of this game (to be fair, some of the animations are a little jerky, but then so was Filmation’s original cartoon). The music just makes this game work, and it looks so cool to see our heroes in a Goldenaxe style beat ‘em up. It’s not perfect, but like the cartoon from my childhood itself, I can overlook its flaws and simply enjoy watching the heroes of my childhood do battle with their greatest enemies.

Totally! I usually lean towards the early mini-comics/comics box art (the more dark, barbaric stuff, but it sure never kept me from watching the cartoon every day right after school! So the Filmation still has a huge place in my fanship, and this is fun! I’m trying to find out if I can load this onto my Raspberry Pi3b, or a version playable on Dreamcast.

It is more accurate than the Netflix adaption for sure. But I think it is on the same level than the 80s series except in the 80s showing violence was not allowed. Which is why there are so many workarounds.
