The whole interaction with the window and stuff just gives me the heebie jeebies. Mark's saying things a dad would say to his kid, not someone he's in a mutually respectful, healthy relationship with. Seriously, who just tells their significant other "you're not allowed to touch the window" instead of asking, "can you please not touch the window? the fingerprints are difficult to get rid of" or something along those lines. And the whole "don't you want me to be happy?" thing was SUPER alarming, since that's literally a tactic used by controlling and abusive people.

The thing is that that is the way he is and she should respect that. He at least said it nicely. You make compromises in a relationship and that was one of the things he wanted from her. She kind of behaved like a teenage girl, exactly what she is. While there is an age gap, which definitely compromises relationships, I think that she was also a little immature, even for her age.
