For over five years, Bernardo has been an integral part of creating memories and filming our adventures together. Sadly, he needed to leave for a while, and in this video, I'll be sharing more details about that and what's next for us.
Throughout it all, I've come to realize that love is love, no matter your sexual orientation, with love and support, nothing can stand in the way. It's going to be very difficult to continue creating these videos without him. I thank you for this wonderful community on here and for your love and support.

Who are we?
We are Adam (North American) and Bernardo (Brazilian) and we are husbands whose paths crossed back in 2016, when we both still lived in Brazil. Since the very beginning, we shared a common passion for travel and nature, which has only grown over the years and led us to this unexpected journey on KZfaq, which has allowed us to connect with an amazing community that we’re beyond grateful for. “Go out and make memories” is our motto of living and a constant reminder for us that true happiness doesn’t come from the material wealth we accumulate, but from the memories we create and share with our loved ones throughout our existence. Os últimos anos foram muito desafiadores para ele por ter perdido o pai para Covid, dar apoio ao Adam durante as crises mentais e ainda estar exposto nas redes sociais. Foi a melhor decisão, pois ele precisou ser forte para o Adam e agora precisa ter um tempo para ele descansar, sem pressão do canal.

I have been watching your videos for years, happily subscribed. The vibe in your videos has always been wholesome and heartwarming to me. Love the editing style, the songs you choose. It's clear you have put alot of work in, its been entertaining to watch! The both of you, this channel, have been inspiring to me that, that I too one day, will find a love like that two of you! I have suffered depression and anxiety throughout my life, but your videos have always brought a smile to my face - truly! You have unknowingly helped me return from several depressive spirals and for that, you have my sincerest thanks. You two have a light that shines through your camera lense, to our screens - and it's been a joy and a privilege to have been able to see you on your journey together. That said, as we all know, life can be difficult, social media unforgiving and people cruel (thankfully not the majority!) But these things take their toll on us all, chip away at us, and just like with any work and vacation, we need a break to clear minds, reset, refocus and retune ourselves - mentally, physically, emotionally, even spiritually sometimes. Anyone who has ever needed a break from something for any reason, can empathise and rightly be non-judgemental for this change. It is crucial for the mind and the body and for relationships to look after ourselves and each other. Despite this difficult time, I hope that you both can heal, recover and realign, and strengthen with new resolve together. Whether this channel continues or not, just know you have entertained and inspired so many of us and I for one, wish you both nothing but the best! ❤🏳️‍🌈

Adam I want to thank you for being real & showing your vulnerabilities which is actually a sign of strength & not a weakness at all. I found your channel at a time when I was at the brink of a burn out. I was feeling really stressed and couldn't find an outlet. I don't remember how, but I came by one of your videos one night when I couldn't sleep. I started watching one video after another & before I knew it I have been binge watching your videos for 3 days straight. Your videos helped clear my head & really brought me peace...I finally felt like I stopped falling into this darkness I was heading towards & was able to breathe again. Watching you & Bernardo simply living your life & going through what you were going through really helped me put some perspective into my life. It wasn't necessarily a specific video or specific event..just watching your beautifully produced videos and listening to your soothing voices put me in a trance..I was finally able to relax, clear my head & regroup. Thank you..truly thank you to you and Bernardo. I wish you are able to find the peace you have given me 😊 I love you both and will wait for you as long as it takes. Take good care of yourselves and always be happy and healthy 💖

Honestly, taking time for your relationship is way more important than making a video every week, 2 weeks , etc. I'm glad you can be there for Bernardo as he takes the time he needs to realign his own thoughts. Family > than anything.

Creating videos is definitely not a new 'addiction'. If that were the case, you'd be watching more videos from us. For me, it's the creative aspect and Bernardo has enjoyed filming and editing as well. It's not like he hated it, he found a way to connect to the creative part in him.

Hi Adam & Bernardo. I wasn't going to write anything but before I lose the opportunity of thanking you two for what you've done for me, I thought I might do it today. I started watching you guys in 2018, I admired your love for each other and the adventures you took. I felt like I went on every journey with you across the world. It was only months later that I was struck with the worst case of depression. I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, I just didn't want to exist anymore. By the time January 2019 came around, my life changed forever, and I sank so deep in depression I saw no way out. At this point I wanted to take my life. I struggled for the entire 2019 trying to find support or the will to carry on. I couldn't find either. That's when watching your videos started to give me a glimmer of hope. To see your happiness thrive. In a foreign country where I had no family no friends, Stepsof2foreigners change my downward trajectory and I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You 2 may never understand the significance of your videos, and how it saved my life. Had it not been for your videos I wouldn't be here today. I came from a place so dark I never knew I could stand here today, and you (Adam & Bernardo) are the heroes behind my story. I love you both and I appreciate every content you put out for us to see. Keep going we are all here for you. Take your time, breathe, and as time rush along always remember the love you have for each other stays right by your side. I love you both. Keep strong!

Andre, what a touching comment and thank you so much for sharing that with us/me. I want to say that I'm so glad that you are here and I will have to say that you will have NO IDEA how much it meant to me reading your comment. My mind has been focused on the few negative comments I've received on here (some have been quite harsh, which I knew I would receive so I tried to mentally prepare myself for it.). This is the first comment that I have read from the video that has shared what our videos have done for them and how they have helped you when you needed them. I have to say that your comment came when I needed it. I hope that you are getting the help you need whether it be with a therapist or sharing with a friend your struggles. You are here for a purpose so if you ever feel like you aren't suppose to be here, just remember that you have a purpose. I think we both know how dark those places can be and I'm just so proud that you were able to get out of that darkness without a Bernardo so you are INCREDIBLY STRONG. Yeah, I would have to agree with Andre. My husband stumbled upon your videos a few years ago when dealing with cancer. It was nice traveling with you all and experiencing things out here and I could not at the time. He hasn’t gone on to bigger and better things leaving me here, physically solo. I have fallen into that same deep depression mentioned by Andre I’m. Every time my notification goes off and I see your true faces with a new video. It gives me power to move towards my goals again. And I would do anything to be able to go back and experience his physical presence. So I say to you thank you for all the power that you’ve given to me and I share it back to you! If your husband needs to take a break, share that with him. Embraces his needs just as he did for you. Love him and everything will be okay. You boys got this. XO ~ Drew

Being vulnerable is not weakness, it shows the strength you have to overcome life’s challenges. Allowing Bernardo to find himself is a gift of love. Be there for him as he has been for you. Little brother, this was such a beautiful tribute to your Bernardo. When you said "He was already carrying a lot of weight in his backpack, but he took some weight out of my backpack" -- it encapsulated everything sacrificial and beautiful about what your relationship *_has been._* But the video was not only a look back, but also a celebration of the present. I see your gratitude, your growth, your awareness, your strength, and (equally important) your willingness to be vulnerable. Thank you Mike for being here with us and for your kind comment. You know that I will be there taking care of him, I had a wonderful teacher :). We have talked about this in our therapy session and with each other, he has encouraged me to continue. Obviously, I won't be posting videos every week but I'll keep going, for now. Of course, we are going to see how this is going to pan out. I am just so happy that he is pausing and taking some time for HIM. He deserves it and it's quite hard for him to think of himself.

You can, and are, doing it. Look at you go! And I'd like to lovingly correct something you said at the start of the video when you said he's the backbone of the channel. You're BOTH equally important and contribute in your own unique ways, and I don't want you to ever feel like your contributions are somehow 'less' without Bernardo being there. So you keep shining your own unique and beautiful perspective like you just did in that video until Bernardo completes his own journey away from socials. I fully agree. I take ownership of that. I fully support Bernardo taking all the time he needs for himself. He deserves it and when I was editing the video I was able to see just how much he has done for me. He has been a caretaker for his whole life and now it's time for him to get out of the role and find himself.

This is the first comment I have ever made on one of your videos but this video really inspired me to say something. I have been watching your videos since the beginning, since I was 15, closeted, and felt guilty for watching videos about a “gay” couple. I’m 20 now and was brave enough to come out to my loved ones and pursue a relationship with a man that I love. It’s insane to see how much growth you guy’s have had over the years and how much you guy’s have inspired my personal growth as well. I honestly don’t think I’d be where I’m at if it weren’t for your videos. Bernardo does add that sense of peace to your videos and it will be missed but at the same time things change and evolve and maybe this could be a time for you (Adam) to really show us who you are. This could be videos about your mental health journey or self growth/habit building videos. I’m sure whatever you do even if you choose to take a break will be best for you.
