Gordon Downie was an amazing man, on so many levels. ❤ I consider myself lucky to have met him & gotten to know him! A beautiful soul, he was!

Brilliant band. Still touches everyones hearts. For a long time I couldnt listen without just crying. Now I turn to thier music for comfort or to lift my spirits. The music just keeps on giving.

Gordon Downie was a master wordsmith, maybe one of the greatest of all times!! He is sorely missed by so many!! We are so lucky to have had the honor of experiencing his incredible talent!!!

This album, Lustre Parfait, is frikkin awesome! He recorded it piecemeal in the early aughts when he was in his prime and not sick. He sounds fantastic.
