Better to take USD, coz he said USD is acceptable. Later, change that USD to CAD in Canada. As many countries dont accept CAD from tourist or in any store in Qatar

Sir I've question, where we should show our bank account mean in India or Canada. Bcoz we usually shut down and withdraw all cash before we departure from India. So where exactly we should show our account? And showing funds in forX card and having 2000can dollars and 700US dollars is okay Or we still have to showing account???

Indigo allows only 30kg and we can add one 10kg extra which makes it 40kgs. I have already opted for extra 10kgs and now if I take 46Kgs, will I be charged in 10USD per Kg or 525/Kg as per Indigo "at airport per kg" charges?

Yes, the airlines will charge extra for any extra weight you carry beyond the already booked limit. I paid @ 15 USD per Kg.

They will generally not ask purpose. They will ask about hotel booking, return flight, and Fund. If they ask you can tell that you will stay here for 2/3 days (as the case may be for you).

One should not try to Manipulate immigration officer, the answer should be - " I am travelling for tourism in Qatar and if my university/Office would need me at Canada then i will have to fly there other wise i also have a return ticket option to India ! So i am prepared for both the options :)"

The result of the PCR was reflecting on the Ehteraz app in 12 hours, and another 4-5 hours we took to bring the hard copies from the health center. So in total in my case, it took 18 hours total. You can normally expect 24hrs for the task.

@@Sriskitchen95 yes you can pay by card just make sure you card is valid to use internationally. If you pay by cash then then they accept only QAR or USD. The hard copy can be collected from any nearest health center (which is kind of a government clinic). You can check with your hotel they will guide you to the nearest one.

In whatever form you bring (Other than Credit Card) you should have a value equivalent of QAR 5000. You can have it part in USD or CAD and part in your bank account with a proof like a balance message in your mobile.

*Don't take this route*, they give you reactive report which according to them means asymptomatic and top of that they won't give you report instead they will update Ehteraz app and someone from MOPH will come and put you into isolation center. worst part is not getting report which you can use to travel to Canada after 14 days days. You have to take another test after you come out of quarantine center , which would most probably will be reactive and again the cycle will start. stay away from this route
