Thank you sir for always giving us an eloquent reaction. You know how to really describe Dimash’s abilities with descriptive vocabulary. Not the average “incredible” “alien” “unbelievable” that I always hear. Which by the way are accurate but to have someone come up with more elaborate description. I definitely appreciate it. Thanks again. Yes I agree this song is another jewel from Dimash. And I also can’t pick a favorite.

Thanks, Carl for another fantastic analysis of Dimash. Love your reaction. You simply can't pick a favorite of Dimash's songs. They are ALL my favorite. It's OK. They are all your favorite. We know and we understand. Dimash is so amazing that he can flip a switch and the soprano in him just showed up to take us to the heavens with his crystal clear high notes. He made it look and sound so easy when it really isn't. There is simply no one like him on this earth or in any other planet. Many has attempt to cover a Dimash song, but no one can match his pureness and extreme quality of voice. I guess, imitation is a highest form of flattery. Again, there is only one Dimash.

@@TheWordSmith365Dimash has unique exceptional vocal cord: it is so flexible, agile and dexterous which allows him to magically pluck any notes at any ranges out of thin air when the song calls for it. No spoilers here, but I believe the story is somewhat based on a fairytale about two swans, each with one wing. There is the song, incredible Dimash, but it is also a visual feast.

Thank you Carl for your enjoyable in-depth analysis 😊❤ You said the word control so many times…and that is so applicable to every part of his work. ❤ Dimash reminds me of Picasso (at least a little bit). Picasso was a master of drawing and painting techniques and he could draw everything as good as other masters did before him. But he used his techniques to innovate and create art! 😊 And for me Dimash is even more impressive, since he is - for one - the best or among the best at every single one of his skills. Plus he has a beautiful tone of voice and conveys lots of emotions with his songs. But put all of this together and no one can surpass him! Other outstanding singers are often outstanding in one or two techniques or qualities, not all of them. 😅 And then Dimash uses his skills and creates something completely different! ❤ Every time!

Thank you so much for your kind words and insightful commentary! It's truly a pleasure to delve into Dimash's work and explore the intricacies of his artistry. You're absolutely right-control is a fundamental aspect of Dimash's performances, allowing him to innovate and push boundaries in every aspect of his craft. Your comparison to Picasso is both apt and fascinating; just as Picasso revolutionized art with his mastery of technique and innovation, Dimash continues to redefine the boundaries of music with his unparalleled skills and emotional depth. It's awe-inspiring to witness someone who excels in every aspect of their craft, yet still manages to create something entirely unique and transformative. Dimash truly is a force to be reckoned with in the world of music, and we're grateful to be able to experience his brilliance with each new performance. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and insights-it's comments like yours that make this journey so rewarding! ❤️🎶

You mention how Dimash incorporates borrows from other genres. Could you specify and match certain genres with their concomitant techniques and then particularize when Dimash does this in a relevant song? I'm thrilled to hear that you're excited about exploring Dimash's vocal techniques and the genres he incorporates into his music! Dimash is known for seamlessly blending various genres into his performances, showcasing a diverse range of vocal techniques. Here are a few examples: 1. Opera: Dimash often incorporates operatic elements into his songs, such as the use of bel canto technique, powerful vibrato, and dramatic vocal flourishes. In songs like "SOS d'un terrien en détresse," Dimash showcases his operatic prowess with soaring high notes and expressive phrasing. 2. Pop: Dimash infuses pop music with his own unique style, incorporating catchy melodies, rhythmic patterns, and contemporary vocal effects. In songs like "Love of Tired Swans," he combines pop sensibilities with classical influences, creating a dynamic and engaging listening experience. 3. Folk: Dimash occasionally draws inspiration from folk music traditions, incorporating elements such as melismatic ornamentation, modal scales, and traditional vocal techniques. In songs like "Story of One Sky" & "Sinful Passion" Dimash showcases his versatility by blending folk melodies with modern production. 4. Rock: Dimash occasionally explores rock music elements in his performances, incorporating powerful vocal growls, dynamic intensity, and gritty timbres. In songs like "Story of One Sky" & "Queen Medly" Dimash demonstrates his rock influence with energetic vocal delivery and electrifying stage presence. These are just a few examples of how Dimash incorporates different genres into his music, showcasing his versatility and innovation as an artist. I hope this provides some insight into the diverse range of techniques and influences present in Dimash's performances! Let me know if you'd like more specific examples or further details on any particular genre or technique.

There is this band called OTYKEN (pronounced aw-too-ken) who are from wild Siberia in Russia. The band is made up mostly of a tribe called Chulym. According to one version, the Chulyms are the ancestors of the Japanese Ainu and the indigenous peoples of North America. According to another version, the Chulyms are an ancient Turkic tribe. The Chulyms live along the Chulym River in the Krasnoyarsk Territory where temperatures go right down to -70 Celsius. Chulyms are the lords of honey and great beekeeping masters. Their method of extracting honey has not changed from ancient times to the present days. The band is made up of mostly Siberian girls (that too gorgeous ones )with just one or two guys. The astonishing thing is none of them have received any formal musical education. The best thing is even though they have become so famous when they are not singing they still live in their village and go about the normal lives collecting herbs and pine cones, moving through the wild taiga for hunting, apiary work, preparing gear for night fishing. I have a background in classical music but I am still not able to understand why the music has such mesmerizing effect. They live in a place whether is no electricity and all their amazingly beautiful videos are shot in the absolute wild Siberia with just a generator for electricity. They use traditional instruments as well as modern instruments and try to mix modern sounds with their folk music. One girl place a jaw harp and another place the Igil which is a kind of cello with two strings and the sound box is a skull of an Ox with the horns complete! There is something very special about their music; as one person commented their are music is an experience. And the lead singer, Azyan, has a voice which is just undescribably mesmerizing and hypnotic. She doesn't have the beautiful rasp of Angelina Jordan nor the dark rich Timber of Diana Ankudinova but when she Sings it's like mother earth is singing. The band was invited to perform for the opening ceremony of the Football world cup at Qatar but could not make it because of the sanctions against Russia. They were also called to perform for the Grammys. I suggest you start with the song called Chukotka which is recently released. Make sure to have the subtitles on as the lyrics of the song are beautiful. This song truly brings out the beauty of the videos, of the place they live in and the voice of the lead singer, who is nothing short of a goddess. Link is below: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hqt-npl_p6vdgKc.htmlfeature=shared . The next song you should review is a collaboration between Otyken and Dutch DJ of Turkish descent called Ummet Ozcan. This is very different from the earlier song Chukotka but highlights the versatility of the group. The video is shot in the stunning mountains of the Taiga in summer. The music is just mind blowing where they mix Siberian folk with EDM. Link is below to the song called ALTAY kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l76jf8-Atd3JZGw.htmlfeature=shared

Thank you so much for sharing this fascinating information about OTYKEN and their music! It's truly remarkable how they have preserved their cultural heritage and traditional way of life while also making a mark in the music industry. The combination of traditional Siberian instruments with modern sounds and influences sounds incredibly intriguing, and I can imagine the mesmerizing effect it has on listeners. I'm particularly intrigued by the jaw harp and the Igil made from an ox skull - such unique and culturally significant instruments! It's also heartwarming to hear that despite their fame, the members of OTYKEN continue to lead humble lives in their village, maintaining their connection to their roots and the natural world. I'll definitely check out the song "Chukotka" with subtitles to appreciate the beauty of the lyrics and the stunning visuals of Siberia. And the collaboration with Ummet Ozcan sounds like an exciting blend of genres and cultures. Thank you for the links, and I look forward to experiencing the magic of OTYKEN's music!

Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your thoughts with us. I understand your preference for a smoother viewing experience. However, I want to explain that the reason for the pauses in the video is twofold. Firstly, our aim is to provide not only reactions but also vocal analysis, as indicated in the title and description of the video. This involves pausing to delve into Dimash's vocal technique and the music itself, allowing for a more comprehensive understanding of the performance. Secondly, as you mentioned, pausing intermittently helps us navigate Dimash's strict copyright restrictions. By breaking down the performance and offering commentary along the way, we aim to comply with these restrictions while still providing valuable insights. Additionally, for those who wish to watch Dimash's performance uninterrupted, we always include a link to the original performance in the video description. This allows viewers to enjoy Dimash's singing in its entirety. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will take it into consideration as we strive to improve our content. you stop too often, you speak of a couple of seconds of music for minutes !! you don't even hear the melody itself ,as it would unfold...you chop the music up into very tiny bits, very annoying! you could keep a little longer periods and then tell what you want (I'm sure it wouldn't get copyright), but only that is essential to the particular music phase and not talk about other singers, techniques etc,,,sometimes I think you get carried away with the explaining, almost a bit as if your listeners were your students, we are not!

I truly appreciate your feedback and I understand your concerns. Firstly, I want to apologize for any frustration caused by the frequent pauses in the video. Unfortunately, due to copyright restrictions, I've had to navigate a delicate balance between providing insightful commentary and adhering to KZfaq's strict policies. As I have mentioned previously in other videos, the copyright detection tool only permits a short duration of copyrighted content, typically around 20-25 seconds, before risking a block or takedown. Moreover, I strive to cater to both musical novices and aficionados alike, which sometimes leads me to elaborate on various aspects of the music, including techniques and comparisons with other artists. However, I acknowledge your point about finding a better balance and will certainly take it into consideration for future videos. Additionally, I want to share that this premier had to be delayed twice due to issues with copyright blocking, which further complicated the editing process. I hope this sheds some light on the challenges I face in delivering content that is both informative and compliant with copyright regulations. Your feedback is invaluable in helping me improve, and I thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Please know that I'm committed to enhancing the viewing experience for all my audience members. If you have any further suggestions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

@skirk9184 I appreciate your perspective and thank you for sharing your thoughts. It's important for me to clarify that in our videos, we aim to provide both reactions and vocal analysis, as indicated in the title, description, and introduction. However, I understand that preferences vary, and I apologize if our approach didn't meet your expectations. I want to emphasize that our intention is never to lecture or detract from the listening experience. We strive to strike a balance between offering insights and respecting the enjoyment of the music. Your feedback is valued, and I'll make sure to keep it in mind moving forward. That said, I must address the tone of your message. While constructive criticism is always welcome, disrespectful language is not conducive to productive dialogue.
