Jason, I love your kids channel. I was so touched with your sharing about the little girl with level 3 autism. I worked with children on the spectrum during my teaching career and can totally understand the excitement over her crowing like a rooster. That is a huge step forward for a nonverbal child. Thank you for putting on your teaching hat to serve our special little ones in such an entertaining way.

Put him in the milking stand and shave the area. This way you can see how bad it truly is and the hair doesn’t irritate the wound more.

Thank goodness Roberto and his work partner had finished up the outside stalls at the barn! That worked out so perfect for little Top-Top's misadventure! Topper and Miss Bootsie look so cute together in their "honeymoon suite". Lol, let's hope for a baby Nigerian Dwarf goat or goats.

Thankfully Brooke and Jason already lived on their '20' property and did a lot of research prior to building their Forver Home and FURever Barn on the '40'. All variables are working exactly as planned and will continue to do so going forward. All the babies will have their best lives possible. Who could ask for more?!

The outside stalls at the barn is already paying off. Hanging the water bucket is a great idea. I've seen other farms do that too. Brooke you are a good nurse. Prayers for Topper's quick recovery. Having Bootsy with him for company should help alot. God bless you all. ❤

Brooke, I am so glad you put the antibiotic on the gauze. That way, the antibiotic container end doesn’t get contaminated. I have had to tell medical personnel about this, and the second they hear it, they understand instantly.

Cleaning the debris out when cleaning it was the best. That will really help prevent infection. With the antibiotic ointment and wrapping it to keep it clean, I bet in 24 hrs his foot will feel all new. Gotta admit though he probably did hear through the grapevine about how fancy those new stalls were and wanted to check them out

“Doctoring” any little one, doesn’t matter the species, human or 4 footed baby, they can be extraordinarily strong! I’ve seen human babies (probably 4-6 years old) toss adults across the room! Lol. I’m a retired flight nurse. Any baby, regardless of size, if they are in pain and/or scared, have super human strength. Topper did amazing, but even more amazing were you two, Brooke and Jason. That calm, loving demeanor made all of the difference in the world! You guys rock! Y’all have a truly joyful and blessed day!

That tape wrap was invented by a vet. And is used widely now by human doctors. I keep it in our medicine cabinet. Like it a whole lot better than the white tape. It was made for animals cause it doesn't pull out their fur and hair

It was invented to wrap horses’ legs when they needed a little support. It clings to itself, and it so easy to apply.

We call it vet wrap, used it for decades,stayed on better than tape and horses left it along,was very surprised one day when I saw it in a Dr’s office,it usually is put over a bandage to hold it in place.

Y’all are so good with the animals🥰 when Brooke showed up with that hay and just set it over the fence, Mildred and Jessie were running and kicking up their back feet, that was the makings of a great short …. All the animals in that pasture were just so excited!!! I’m so glad the barn stalls were finished and one was available for him and now Bootsie too! Topper loved the rubber mat inside the barn too …. Blessings

When you're messing with Topper's foot at about the 4 minute mark and beyond, you can see the pain in Topper's eyes amd the muscles around his eyes. It takes some trust for an injured animal to let folks mess around with them.

Poor Topper, that is very sore. He's doing so good, this is the advantage of a bottle fed baby. Glad that it wasn't to bad. Topper your the first one to use the stalls, these are perfect.

Maybe you need to get a sling that you can change from ceiling to lift animals up off the floor when you need to treat, trim hooves, etc. Would sure make your jobs easier.

Thank you for being so diligent in taking care of your animals...not ignoring problems for extended periods of time, waiting to heal themselves like I see on other channels. Barn is going to be such a blessing for you. Topper might benefit from antibiotics just in case it could get infected...hope he heals quickly. Thanks

We know you want us to be able to see everything, however when it comes to helping one of your wonderful pets you don't need worry what we can or can not see up close. We understand and only want what is best for them. So happy that the barn is working just like you wanted. Sorry it was for this reason you found out just how great it is. I hope he heals quickly. Top Top is a very good patient. Brooke is an awesome Physician Assistant ☺ Top Top is so happy to be the first one in the new stall. Then bootsy said she was transported in some moving object with windows and brought to heaven on earth. Top Top and Bootsy look very happy to be the first ones in the stall. Awesome job as always. We have horses, my vet turned me on to manuka honey, it's awesome fast healing and draws out infection. My granddaughter had a stubbed cut toenail that wounded heal. I used manuka honey and it started to heal in 24 hours. My Daughter was freaking I use my horse meds on her daughter, till it worked.

Getting a close up or a good camera angle is not as important as fixing Topper up. I'm so glad you both worked so hard to get him taken care of. It doesn't seem to be really bad, but the antibiotic ointment and cleaning it out - all of that should take care of any chance of infection. Have a blessed day!
