Have been neglecting my SU-130. Just ran four quick battles (3 wins) and ended up with a 9584 WTR. It was a lot of fun & I need to run it more. Thanks for the video.

One thing that could be an option as well is putting exhaust on the tank. With exhaust and optics TD could do everything by themselves and sometimes could pull some stupid shots where they should have been spotted but (with proper knowledge of bushing and vision mechanics) didn't. My friend (who three marked most TDs in the game) does that, and on the moment when I (mostly play light/assist mediums) died he could do the job that I usually do by himself. Also awesome for maps like Prokhorovka since you could set up both crossfire and spotting on two lines with only two person, basically doing a job of one team with two person.

hmmm interesting my fav tiers are 6-8. Where there are still alot of arty in those tiers. Since you have to play the tank but yes ammo and tank costs could be lower to half or at least 3/4 of what it is. Since it hard to play the game pasted tier 8.

Absolutely my favorite tank in garage. Got over 2k battles with it, and it never stops being fun. The tank itself is unpredictable, but i have amazing crew in it. Setting up my SU 130 PM similar way, although I don't have any field mods now, since I haven't played WoT in 6 months...

There's also one more thing to go for optics versus binocs - range of turret rotation. I experienced that. On stationary position, because of limited rotation, you could unintentionally move your vehicle a bit, losing for a period of time not only camo net, but also view range, so I decided for the same equipment on Grille. But ofc on both TDs I'm far from the level of BadRNG_. I know that such battles like this one happen, but many times you are just unlucky, some EBR comes, spots and hits you and then bad RNG is against you again and you get hit by arty, and half of your hp or more is gone in first 2-3 mins of a game ;) Such games of daily WOT life will not be posted on UTube but believe me - they exist.

I change tactics based on my team composition. Sometimes I move my SU130PM with the mediums and heavies. I keep the targets between the two rings so I can see them but they can't see me. Then I pick off the weak targets so my team can keep moving forward

The biggest problem I have with this TD is the rounds are slow. Skorp is kind of the same way unless you press 2.

Seems like it’s not just me that can lose 6 in a row on a Saturday afternoon! Strangely, I played really well in my first 6 games - did lots of damage, got lots of kills - but we got steam rollered every time. One game, we were 5k down inside a minute. No lie

I was watching an American streamer Saturday night (Cody Menz) and one of their viewers commented that they thought you were about to cry QB from that session. What they didn't mention was the tank you were playing! I used to lover derpy Soviet TDs but it's been a long time since I've felt like driving them.

IRM is fairly useless on 130PM. IRM is primarily a mobility equipment. The dispersion reduction is there to offset the traverse increase. You can use it as a firepower equipment, but only in two scenarios. You're driving straigth without moving your turret or on autoloaders. Otherwise it brings you nothing in terms of bloom reduction. I use same equipment on my 130PM, but only for maps where camo is not that useless, like himmelsdorf or ensk. But I don't use food so my view range with only optics is not enough.

I'm pretty sure I've got patrol duty on my obj.257 xD

I like to play this with binos, other than that same setup. Playstyle is the same agressive but not quite so active as I need to activate binos, but at the same time I have time to aim.

Hello QB, gg to you BadRNG, i didn't play as well as both of u but i share what i have put on that tank and why : Additional Grouser and Reinforced Suspension !!! because i felt like Terrain Resistance values was the worst thing about mobility of SU-130-PM and i like it with the best mobility possible for play like BadRNG play, mean with lot of relocation, sideways, fordward and back. I have to say my crew isnt very trained and i dont have Off-Road Driving competence but im hurry to.

Imho rotation mechanism isn't worth it. While it makes your bloom better it also makes your turret turn faster so unless you intentionally turn your turret slower the effective bloom is the same. I get improved aiming mechanism but bounty GLD is really good on some tanks. Though SU130 doesnt have crazy aim time so the effect is smaller. I love using it on my shitbarn

the su 130 and the scorpion G are op, way better than regular tech tree tds at tier 8....

Su130 has bad dispersion. Even with a rotation device it wiffs badly. This is similar to my setup and it works very well.

The funniest thing that happened to me in wot was when i had just bought panther, it was completely stock and the first battle i got an ace tanker
