Came across the Maine Reset channel…It’s interesting to see your East Coast fishing problems mirror what is happening on the Great Lakes surrounding Michigan…..Pen raising Aquaculture of Salmon on the big lakes..promoting disease in fish stocks….current on going tribal decree with the movement for tribal gill netting expanded into new parts of the Great Lakes …the US govt is going to allow the changes for expanding gill net fishing by the tribes..It’ll mean depleting Lake Trout stocks in portions of the Great Lakes…currently the Michigan Dept of Natural Resources has their heads in the sand…. I went over to Jerry's channel and he doesn't allow comments. What peaked my interest was Jerry mentioning NGOs. Before that He had me thinking who was driving the policy, why this policy etc. ? One of larger problems all Western societies face are omnipresent NGOs who shape policy across the board : education, immigration, open borders, gender gaga, post colonialism, food in general, energy, policing etc. There are massive budgets including dark money which comes from rewgressive left billionaires which hand money out, they give out scholarships, fund university departments, NGOs, media production companies etc. my area of expertise is more immigration, anti USA & Israel naratives and pro Islam. But all of these NGOs share their m.o. and hold meetings and coachings and pass on their knowledge how to leverage Influence and how to achieve their ends.

I'll let Jerry know about the issue, not sure if he intended to keep comments at bay. But t your point, the meaning of the abbreviation NGO seems to be a misnomer...these entities seem to be a key component of how governing is done now in the west. Those in public office often work in conjunction with them, and the NGO can be a vehicle for projects that one would not be permitted to undertake within the constraints of their public office. Say hi to Joseph Losey for me, he's one of my favs.

@@TheMaineReset You hit the nail on the head. NGOs are a powerful vehicle for the left to mainstream niche issues. The NGOs give them a cache which used to be reserved for professional lobbyists. NGOs also cost less money than professional PR agencies and lobbyists who pay those PR agencies. This can be the ACLU, CAIR or any of the dozens of regressive left wing causes which are favoured by wealthy misanthropes. Here in Europe we are just going through two NGO made "scandals" one is Qatargate in the European parliament, where Qatar and Morocco have been caught buying MPs with cash, luxury hotels, food etc. Interestingly those MPs are all of the left and even managed to subvert the so called "human rights" discussion. The MPs in question had set up two NGOs with virtue signalling names. These NGO were only front organisations. Another dynamice has lead to the resignation of the Scottish First Minister after she gave in to the transgender crowd and sold out women. This was seen as so dangerous that she fell over a double rapist who had himself admitted to a women's jail because he identified as a women. Today NGOs live of the shine of the 70s&80s when they did have more pure intentions and they were outside of politics. Just look at BLM and Fridays For Future and you understand how unpleasant NGOs may be.

When capturing video always orientate the camera horizontally. A cellphone orientated vertically (portrait mode) cuts off the left one-third and the right one-third of the video creating a stick video dead center vertically on the screen. Recall, every computer screen, TV screen, and movie screen is oriented horizontally, thus the name widescreen. You would not at all enjoy watching a movie on TV, computer, nor in a movie theater, dead center vertically on the wide screen, it would be spatially disorienting. Watching your video it is as though we are looking through a tight keyhole or wearing tight horse blinders. We do not see our world vertically; we see it considerably more horizontal. Hope this helps you with your next video.
