One of the best Australian accents done by a foreign comedian was Trevor Noah at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, video's titled "First Visit To Australia". He absolutely NAILS the accent (Shane wasn't quite bang on) and has me crying with laughter every time.

After winning a gold medal, and an MVP award in basketball I quit for the exact reason he's talking about. Even if he does the broad accent right, he plays on the stereotype too much. There are people who talk like that but thats not the majority of Australians. He also sounds more like a New Zealander than an Australian at times with the incorrect vowel pronunciation. But it comes close.
