Sam said this was the best haircut he'd ever had. He was pretty open to suggestions to Dan, other than that he wanted a short back and sides, so Dan gave him a versatile short haircut that could be worn in 3 different ways. This haircut could be worn swept to the side, down with a fringe, or up with a quiff at the front. Sam chose the option with the quiff at the front to end with.

My husband has this exact same hair. Lots of volume and texture and natural waves. He doesn't ever want to style it like this because he thinks it makes him look like a prick. I love it though 😍. I'm cutting his hair for the first time tonight and this is the cut I'm aiming for lol

the trick is to use a good hair dryer and blow dry your hair properly to create volume. When it's dry you can honestly use anything and it looks good with minimal product

@@alanfleming4823 used to go to one. Out of the five lads there, I've eventually picked one that I thought had the most potential AND was willing to listen to me. Probably also because his English was better than his mates'. Took my guy a couple months to nail my trim and have to say his were the best ever in the end! I'd tip him a few quid from time to time. Good man, I miss him. It's interesting though that Turkish barbers just seem to do their style only, I had to literally convince them not to use razors for line ups & shit.

I love how Dan analyzes the person in every detail, my occipital bone is also very prominent and I always have to ask stylists to be careful with it so it doesn’t show that big hump on the back, and sometimes they still cut too short. And also I love and always ask for versatility to wear my hair in more formal occasions and just casual party like styles. His hair looks great!!!! Well done! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I have cut my little boys’ hair for 18 years (I have a 19 year old, a 7 year old, and a 4 year old), but it wasn’t until Covid that my husband was brave enough to let me try cutting his. I’ve been watching tons of videos to work on techniques and your channel is by far the best! This is a great cut and you do such a wonderful job of doing cuts that suit the face, texture, and style of the individual. Thanks for doing these videos and sharing your gift! My husband is grateful too ;)

I've been doing DIY haircuts all of quarantine and always noticed a patch at my occipital bone despite cutting the hair evenly around it but with what Dan said it all makes so much sense now!!

What a true master at his craft, pays attention to every detail down to what suits the style of the customer's face to what hairstyle is suitable to his line of work. I had a very bad haircut last week from a Korean Barber who seem to ignore everything I wanted in a haircut and proceeded to tell me that my hair was very difficult to cut. I wish i had a barber like yourself, great work

As strange as it may sound, I get pleasure tingles from watching haircut stuff, I find them so relaxing and soothing it's palpable. I used to love having my hair cut and how it felt, the sounds of the scissors the smells, my head being touched (lol)........the cruel irony is that I started shaving my head at 19 due to it thining/disappearing, so maybe it's just find memories. Strangely though I get the sweats when I watch people eat hot food, which I also love. Anyhow great work Sir, love your content.

Wow this guy is so good. I have kinda similar hair to this customer, but the difference is I am yet to find a barber like this. I have asked all the one’s near me for some ideas/experiments/their expert opinion on what would look good with my hair, only to be met with absolutely no feedback, and just “I dunno mate I’ll do whatever u want”. Would love to find a barber like this guy who shows more interest in his clients and is willing to experiment with their hair more, but unfortunately London seems to be totally void of these types of barbers 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Edit: hi mate if u see this, are u based in London cuz if so ima definitely check u out, If normal service u give is anything close to this vid it will be a million times better than what I’ve ever experienced

I just can’t quite decide if the crown at the back just above o-bone needed a slight touch more scissor/clipper over comb just to neaten up the transition (probably just me being picky)🤷‍♂️ Cracking shape and great techniques 10/10 👌

this is my dream cut, my hair is just like this dude, except it is dark brown, almost black. I have same texture and same thickness as his, just little more wavy/curly but at this length it will be the same. I wish I could fly over to you Dan!!! Great cut as always!!!

by far the easiest and most versatile cut, easy to (change) styling, nice and light but still holds great volume when styled. im going to ask my barber to do a cut like this. its cool! on top of that, my hair naturally falls like a lego hairstyle too. youre not alone brother haha

I’ve been giving my fiancé cuts for a few years and decided to step my game up. Your video is soooo helpful. Do you have any tips for straight coarse hair? His doesn’t really style so when I have him this cut it just doesn’t work as well
