Joe Smith Then they aren’t worth your time. As a suggestion though when I was dating, I’d never ask a girl to go for coffee. It’s not enough of a commitment to give either person a reasonable chance to get to know each other. Best thing I found was a happy hour that led to dinner and schtonking, or a walk on the beach, or at a park. So much for that now unfortunately. I feel bad for single people living during the coronavirus.

I've been watching proposal and wedding videos for an hour. This is my favourite. It's such a special story and sets up great for a proposal. I also like that it was so informal and fun. Backpacks and backwards caps... Perfect!!

It's not awkward, it's actually happened to my brother once, his girlfriend wasn't ready at the time but they still stayed together and actually are happily married now, saying no doesn't mean you don't love the person but you have to make sure you're ready.

Never say yes, unless you mean it! There is NOTHING wrong in saying no to a proposal, you need to understand that. It's also fine to tell the guy/gal who's proposing, that you need a minute to think it through. Never say yes to a proposal, of someone you've been with for half a year, unless you're absolutely certain it's the right choice (Most cases not.) And of course, when you get older you'll mature more, and figure out who you are as an individual. By then you'll know which answer will be the right one. :)
