Yeah he seemed to enjoy manipulating Daniel a lot. And it still baffles me that the actor who plays Terry is younger than Ralph Maccio. Ralph really looks like a school boy and Terry like a thirty year old.

Yeah, it always bugged me that Daniel wins a regional tournament and beats the most accomplished student of Sato in Okinawa, but then meets his match against a guy who uses the most basic techniques imaginable.

@@maxdoles5806 Even worse, in the trash that is COBRA KAI, Daniel teaches Johnny "wax on, wax off" and "paint the fence" so that Johnny can defend himself. How does Johnny acquire a black belt and win the tournament without learning rudimentary defence techniques? The writers have really screwed up this series.

​@markv1274 yeah thats ridiculous cause johnny did block before in some moments and even watched a fight on the internet and yelled, "You gotta block that!!" Then in season 4 he knows no defence??? Don't get me started on how he did no karate for 35 years since high school while Daniel kept doing karate until Mr Miyagi died in 2008 yet they're evenly matched? Franchise has some goofy writing..

​​@@irvinalexanderfloresYea Cobra Kai bored me when it kept repeating the same plot arcs over and over again. Johnny's students get aggressive, Daniels students fight them, then Cobra Kai fights back, Daniel's students then get aggressive, back and forth with one prodigy from each school transfering over to the other over some differences with their parental figure, they come back, then back again, rinse and repeat. They do this with like 10 characters (sometimes even with the SAME character). Honestly the series just got kind of OLD to me during S3 and 4. Especially when it kept making Johnny dumber and dumber as a character and Daniel just being a pain in the ass who can never see the other side (his daughter is also insufferable). Eventually it seemed like every episode was mandated to have at least ONE fight scene as well and it just got ridiculous. The series was a serios breath of fresh air at first, but Netflix acquiring the show must have affected it somehow and it just got stale as a result.
