One thing he won't accept is that those were Mosaic laws and they were repealed with the death of Christ. Romans 10:4 makes it clear that the dietary restrictions of the Mosaic law were repealed with the death of Christ. The Mosaic Law is finished, it isn't binding anybody today. Clearly he was talking about Jehovah's witnesses but they never tell anybody to abstain from pork while they enjoy it, because they instead tell you that the reason why they chew it is because of the reason I gave above...people know them to like that meat and they never condemn it when they talk about it during Bible discussions.
