That's the kind of petty shit I believe WoL would do. Just putting on a sundress, a pina colada in hand. Calling up G'raha and screamin into the linkpearl "Roadtrip bitchesssssssssssssssss" and then jumping into their car with Estinien and G'raha and vibing to the beat only to be stopped by mommy y'shtola that's gonna make this vacay into an educational experience of artifacts.

i believe this story goes: Estinien lost all his money yet again and Vrtra lectured him about responsibilities of knowing when he's deceived by gil pinchers but took pity on him anyways an gave him a loan only for Estinien to blow it on this supposed treasure trove which bring him riches when in reality it was probably a trap set up by the blonde haired dude to not only get a modest gil outta some poor sucker but to loot their body too when they get killed by the traps or guardians in this place the map leads too so he then phones Tataru asking if she's seen us recently so he can invite us to an expedition seeking treasures lmao

My guess is the place is a well known place where adventurers go missing or such. It was never explored so it is technically a 'true' treasure map but almost everyone knowledgeable enough knows about the location. Therefore, Estinien will still have gotten scammed no matter what price he paid. lol
