Now would have been a tuff hunt in that timber. Well done boys. Looking forward to to the next video. Sika is on my list. NZ would be good but place of origin would be awesome, but very hard to arrange.

Yea they are hard work. But it’s bloody rewarding when you finally get a decent one. Japan would be cool but NZ they are very accessible to hunt in public land or on private hunting properties if you want to spend some $$

Awesome work lads. love your videos. I don't want to sound like that nagging old fella but rifle safety... With the increased focus on tightening gun laws and restrictions for hunters, don't swing a rifles barrel across your brothers path! Talk about rifle status, safety, and looking after each other. You will save someone's life as most people watching these don't have the experience we have. Keep living the dream boys

Great hunting lads. Do your sika mate with the reds ? They do over here in the uk we call them hybrids

Yep they do here as well. Sika seem to eventually take over areas they share. I think they can eat a wider variety of trees, herbs and mosses so once food is scarce the reds can’t survive.

Great to see the sexy twins on a hunt like this. Older bro narration makes it perfect. Do you only take the backstrap meat or the whole animal ?You have great looking rifles. What caliber are they ? Good video. Pax.

Thanks, they are using the .308 Benelli Lupo. We try and take as much meat as we can. Sometimes it’s the whole thing but sometimes on the big trips we can’t take it all.
