I've honestly kind of surprised a Mega Church Pastor has never run for presidency. I mean they can convince millions to give them literally everything they have; sometimes including their lives. Why not go for a presidency?

Kenneth Copeland is the exact opposite of what it means to be a Christian. I actually met him once, and even shook his hand. I can’t explain it, but when he looked me in the eyes, I began to shiver and the hair on the back of my neck stood straight up. Those eyes are not of this earth. I felt like pure evil was staring back at me.

My great grandfather himself was a Preacher, he was just a generic preacher he would preach at any church regardless of denomination if asked. He was my moral compass not because I found him inspirational but because I knew him since I was five and he helped raise me into adulthood and even when I was having a schizophrenia moment managed to make me feel absolutely safe by saying hello. However he always told me this one thing over and over again and I just learned what it was a month ago this phrase he would repeat: The Prosperity Gospel is Blasphemy.

I feel the need to answer this as a former Secenth Day Adventist! So basically churches are SUPPOSED TO use the donations to open locations to spread the word and give the workers (who aren’t volunteering) just enough to live off of. This is just power gone wrong lol

Sadly I’ve seen worse. I was raised in a very evangelical church and the nature of my dad’s job entailed going to many others throughout the country. There were sooo many times when the “offering” was prayed over, and the congregation was promised that whatever they gave would be tripled! Also paying for prayers and intercession sounds an awful lot like a practice that went on in the Catholic Church in the 16th century 🤔 🤦🏻‍♀️ Great video, Oomps! 😊

This was my childhood in the 80's, we went to many meetings/conventions where Copeland and others were preaching. It didn't seem so crazy and evil to me at the time, but wow! This man is scary!

My old pastor worked full time and gave all the money that was received by the congregation back to the ministry. He was a firm believer that it was God's money and not his. Besides his church, he ran a free rehab for men and women. The guy is genuinely one of the greatest people I've ever had the privilege of meeting.

Sadly my friends mother who was suffering from cancer and had a choice of paying her medical 🏥 bills( $ 3400 ) or giving the money to Kenneth for a “prayer” and going broke, sadly sent it to Kenneth, couldn’t have the treatment and died 🙏🏽

I have an elderly family member that I allow to live with me after their spouse died. They send money to this evil man every month. Having to hear these kind of preachers so often now has pushed me away from organized "religion" in all its forms. IMHO religions are worse than political parties.

I realised a few years ago why a lot of people feel really weird about this guy. He exists in the uncanny valley, (look it up, its cool) basically he looks just human enough for us to think he is human but there are aspects to him that are unhuman. His smile and his mannerisms as well as how he behaves is just slightly off for a majority of people. We know instinctively that these things about him aren't genuine and because of that we automatically hate and dismiss things that exist in the uncanny valley. It would be quite unfortunate life for him... if he wasn't so much of a garbage person that preys on people. And his behaviour is actually evil and goes against what his bible says.

I want to mention speaking in tongue is a really common concept in most churches, well especially in evangelical churches. My mother speaks in tongues when she prays. I always thought it was gibberish but its got a specific sound to it. Kenneth Copeland is ACTUALLY doing gibberish because i promise it sounds nothing like what my mom does

As a Christian, I fully believe pastors shouldn’t be living like this. It doesn’t make sense for someone to peach about giving when they spend all this money on worldly things. Nothing is wrong with wealth, but leaders of religious practice shouldn’t be the rich ones.
