I like how objective Midbeast is with this video. He doesnt shy away from mentioning the smurfing drama and gives good non biased context overall. Professor Akali was one of the content creators I started out watching. After the smurfing thing and some drama with hashinshin I stopped following him. That being said I wish him the best and hopefully he makes challenger. Proves himself finally.

From someone who actually watch his streams. I think these kind of videos are a little too negative. Sure, in terms of a a single gameplay review, midbeast is absolutely nonbiased and stays neutral. However, in terms of marketing for prof, its definitely very negative video as obviously; one of his worse games was picked for the public audience. He also has a lot of really good games in which he carried masters games with 14/0/10 kind of kdas. I really dont know why he does these 21 hours stream, but it obviously make you play worse the more you play and he really needs to take care his physical and mental health. He has really clean games, and is definitely masters level+ micro. His macro can be cleaned up, but personally i think his climb and learning curve is going to be better with max 10-12 games and 10 hour stream. 20 games a day is respect, but not healthy. But yeah...on his bad/tilted games, the gameplay for someone who doesnt watch him regularly doesnt even look like high level diamond. Just trying to be open-minded and show what it is for both sides. I dont know if this is the best midbeast can do just to cater to the fact that prof has a bad rep unfortunately. But making the vid on prof is definitely a win in terms of making content as a youtuber. In my opinion, midbeast predicted masters 100lp for professor akali which I doubt he can predict from this game alone, unless he actually followed more games.

Prof is super good mechanically but definitely lacks in the macro department, which would separate him from other players in Korea. because he’s good mechanically, I think other players will outshine him as we all know Korean mechanics are simply unmatched compared to other regions.

Akali is known for going in for big plays, a lot of all or nothing games. Can he make clutch plays? Yeah. But if you are patient against him he will leave himself open
