@@cosmic4791the reason people would like the Musashi is it’s a tier 8 battleship, so it is able to fight tier 7’s if you get down tiered, and tbh I wish I got it too, but I only started playing around when the Pommern came into the game

I’m confused cuz wen I shoot near the bow of a German BB I get nothing but full pens, yet everybody else gets citadels, can someone explain wat I’m doin wrong

German BB citadels are mostly below the water line I believe

There are 2 ways of countering the turtleback plating: Be right up close where you shoot directly at the angled plates with the guns being depressed or be at the perfect long range distance to arc the shells into the angled plates. The 2nd option is MUCH harder because the 1st layer of armor has a high chance to trap the shell between the bulkheads long enough to detonate the shell on the inner turtleback

There are probably a lot more things going wrong before you get to this point, and shells don't go "through" a ship unless you have really bad internet. If you're referring to overpens, that's probably because you aimed too far forward. There's a sweet spot right where the bow starts to widen out into the rest of the hull. This is where you want to aim if you want citadels on German and French ships.

Usually, charging in and ending up in close combat with the Yamato is a VERY bad idea. Doing it with the Pommern in front of you is even worse, it's total suicide. He was very lucky.

@@vlad78th skilled or not, if the guy on the other side isn't completely stupid, he'll maneuver to shoot you right in the "cheek" or just throw torpedoes at you and as the Yamato isn't exactly the most maneuverable ship...., you're just dead

This is not true, the barbettes are above the citadel, it's just where german battleships have a vulnerable spot that can be penetrated at close range@@jaextc
