Rule of thumb - which I've learned from a very wise foreign language teacher -never ever use a word that you don't understand. What does nothing mean ...NOT to confuse with ABSOLUTE nothingness (Absence of everything including GOD). I feel like while that brother was confused in terms of his concepts surrounding the world, EF Dawah team could have handled the situation more gracefully. Some of the comments were too mean imo and would turn that individual away than to encourage him to reflect deeper.

I mean - I get it; QM is hard to understand, but to saying it's "not empirical" just shows a complete naivety and wilful ignorance of the topic. Also he is wrong to say that metaphysics isn't related to the physical. eg: ontology - existence/being is a topic in *metaphysics. Humans exist as beings ie: humans have ontology. And humans are physical. Physicalism *is a metaphysical view since it makes *metaphysical account for things that exist. ie: I think you picked the wrong people to talk to on these things. Dr.Imran and Abbas are very philosophically inept; unless it's Islam - they don't know what they're talking about.

Of course this guy is right if there is a god he shows no interest in this world, all the praying that you do leads to nothing, as prayer has been shown as a worthless endeavour, why have a god that cannot or won't do anything, it's plain stupidity.
