I have a friend who tent is better equipped than my caravan. He's in Scotland right now. Power pack heats electric blanket. Gas stove and cadac as oven. Carpets and a dry robe. There's never the wrong weather just the wrong clothes. Xx

We started using those head torches around late 90’s/early 2000’s in the railway as they were a boon and left our hands free to do our Accident Investigation work.

Rob’s head torch looked like he was having one of those light bulb moments you mentioned. Those headlight torches are amazingly useful, before I retired I was an aircraft engineer. I had to work in some really awkward dark spaces, you’d climb in and there would be nowhere to put a torch and get it pointing in the right place. But a head torch changes all that, it’s always pointing where you’re working, it makes it sooo much easier, it leaves both hands free to do whatever you’re doing. But I think Rob’s power saving idea where you wear one at home to save putting the light on is a step too far!

Hi both. Well shall i tell you what i put on my dyson cordless vaccuum a couple of years ago and dont laugh cos it works a treat. I wrapped a head torch around the bottom of the pole and because you can tilt it you can see specs on the floor that the big light doesn’t show up. My husband laughs but i think its brilliant xx❤️❤️❤️

Rob I have to agree with you, the Amrok is an amazing truck however, you say you can take everything you need to Europe in the load bed, just one slight miss calculation, if Lynn is going how the hell are you going to fit your MOTORHOME in the load bed, you will look a right wally when you get to Dover and the Ferry people are telling you , you should have bought a bigger truck when the tail end of the bus is dragging on the floor, it will be like the National Lampoons Holiday lol and to be quite honest it is never going to happen, great idea but slightly flawed.
