I spent 27 days on a ventilator and received an ovation when i left the ICU. I joking asked the nurse if every patient who was extubated received the same ovation. One of the nurses told me that i was one of the only patients to be successfully extubated. I consider myself lucky and blessed.

I’m so happy for u and your family, my dad went to hospital for breathing issues on April 15, was antiubated and then put it ventilator for two weeks and couldn’t make it, he tested negative twice for covid 19 but somehow the doctors screw him up and even though he didn’t have any underlying issues, I’m sad and stunned by his death.. may god rest his soul in heaven, I’m crying right now and happy for you as well.

Living Life I'm so sorry for your loss I know your dad is in a much better place then here "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am" (John 14:1-3)

The first covid+ patient in our hospital was diagnosed in late March. His wife also tested positive, but she was able to go home and they couldn't see each other for nearly 2 months. After a few weeks he was transferred to ICU and his prognosis was grim. Somehow he defied the odds, and 2 weeks ago he tested negative and was sent home to be with his wife. I couldn't help but to tear up, out of relief and gratitude. At the end of the day none of the bs matters, it's for him and others like him that we fight so hard.

Dr. Raul Vergini says, “Magnesium chloride has a unique healing power on acute viral and bacterial diseases. It cured polio and diphtheria and that was the main subject of my magnesium book. A few grams of magnesium chloride every few hours will clear nearly all acute illnesses. I have seen a lot of flu cases healed in 24-48 hours with 3 grams of magnesium chloride taken every 6-8 hours.” Dr. Vergini wrote, “I was looking for a solution to cleanse wounds, because Dr. Delbet had found out that the traditional antiseptic solutions actually mortified tissues and facilitated the infection instead of preventing it. He tested several mineral solutions and discovered that a magnesium chloride has a great effect over leukocytic activity (Increases leucocytes to fight infection) and phagocytosis; so it was perfect for external wounds treatment.” In 1915, a French surgeon, Prof. Pierre Delbet, M.D wrote, “From a practical standpoint, please remember that only magnesium CHLORIDE-and no other magnesium salt-has this ‘cytophylactic’ activity. The solution to be used is a 2.5% magnesium chloride hexahydrate (MgCl2-6H2O) solution (i.e. 25 grams in 1 liter of water) Show less REPLY drsircus.com/general/dosages-and-treatments-for-coronavirus-infections/?fbclid=IwAR317ocZ45eduGpT7uoq225hW0smUQLi1cbgbun-iLc3oCnJynIf1x7H_XU • BUY THIS PRODUCT ANCIENT MINERAL MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE FLAKES SPRAY OIL, LOTION FROM AMAZON.COM OTHER BRANDS CAN BE PURCHASED AT WALMART WE ARE SENIORS. For those that are wondering: my dad passed away on January 7th 2021. He gave on a great fight, he underwent 9 dialysis treatments after specialist and doctors were adamant that would never work (100% did not recommend) regardless, I provided consent. And even so, there is more to our story. It was something out of a movie to were we made the local newspaper and the news. We fought alongside my dad because he would do the same for his children and wife. He may not be with us physically but, one day we will meet again. Can’t wait to see him again

My mother 66 came down with COVID over 3 weeks ago. Monday was her 2nd week in ICU. High flow oxygen at 60 liters was working along with steroids but she started to progress in the wrong direction. Two days ago she was intubated. Her lungs are so sick. I pray the Lord will touch her and heal her. She told the doctor before she was intubated that she would be back. My mom’s a veteran and a fighter. It will take time but as long she has that fight in her she’ll make it. Her husband unfortunately succumbed to COVID Saturday. Prayers for his family and my mom because she doesn’t know he has passed.

My 39 year old Brother (whose only known medical issue prior to Covid was he was recently diagnosed with High Blood Pressure) is 4 weeks on the Ventilator today, in that 4 weeks he had a pneumothrax, his heart stopped, another pneumothorax, then his kidneys started to fail and then a third pneumothorax (and a chest tube for each one) and they have him on CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) for his kidneys, this past week since his third pneumothorax he has made great progress, after the second pneumothorax he was requiring relatively high FIO2 settings on the vent at a Peep of 12-14 and the day before the third pneumothorax they had to crank him to a Peep of 15 and like 85-95% FIO2 to keep his saturations up, after that third pneumothorax and chest tube his numbers improved MASSIVELY, they managed to lower the Peep all the way down to 10 and while it's fluctuated this week he is now at a 60% FIO2. We just keep praying everyday will have more progress in the right direction and that he will come home to raise his son.

I went into hospital with O2 saturation of 83. They wanted to give me medication that didn't work and my sats increased and then decreased back to 84. They put a full mask on ready to intubate me. I insisted on the nasal O2 pipes, started exercising my lungs (breathing in deeply, holding my breath for a few seconds) and used vicks. My O2 sats increased to 97. I self discharged 10 days later without any medication given and within a week was better than the last 5 days in hospital. A month later, I can do just about anything I did prior to this. Added to this, doctors say I am asthmatic and another diagnosed me with COPD but I do not use anything for either of those conditions. I had people praying for me and my fight and knowing my family is also waiting for me was my motivation to get out. Physiotherapist said that this illness is exactly like pneumonia, just more slime.

Good to see the recovery. It’s really strange how COVID was deadly for some and barely noticeable for others. It was clearly hardest on the elderly population. I contracted it in Vegas March 4th. It came on like a normal flu, headache, body pain, fever, then fatigue and some extreme congestion. Went on for about 5 days of feeling horrible. After about 7 days I was feeling a little better and then I felt like I was over it at about 10 days. All my elderly relatives got it. We have 8 of them between 72 and 88. Only 1 went to the hospital for about 5 days, but was never on a ventilator. The rest varying degrees of flu symptoms, but nobody hospitalized.

I'm so happy for this family in my case it was a tragedy the reason I found the truth was because I went into the hospital information portal and found out all the mistakes that had done I had to admit we made some also we were not informed like we should have been they overlook the fact that my son was only 40 no underlying conditions vitals were perfect his breathing was very good also he had covet had a cough and that was a symptom of of covid they didn't see that he was only like one or two days away from being covid free that his X-ray said vague so they saw what they thought was pneumonia when it was actually the residual effects of covid they sent him home with prednisone on an antibiotics by the third day he went back to the hospital was intubated and died cannot take this to the lawyers the lawyers won't take covid cases all I do is warn people and cry for my son every day

Poor guy went through hell. My brother tested positive dec 15 Admitted icu dec 21. Left leg amputated two weeks ago. Now complications in right leg. His time in hospital has been one step forward and two back. Now hes I. Big trouble. He possibly needs his right leg removed now if it doesn't improve. However, now his blood pressure has dropped dangerously low which means he may not survive a second amputation opp. Worst of all the damage is done. Hes tested negative 4 days ago. This is covid 19. If it dont kill you one way it will kill you by creating complications

you think nurses would've been trained better, they were packed in that hallway like sardines. all crying and touching their faces
@YonexCC
@YonexCC 4 жыл бұрын
Nothing wrong with touching your face. Yes, that's one way you can get infected from COVID (through droplets that are on your hand or objects that you touch your hand then your face and it enters through tear ducts/mucous tracts i.e. nose and mouth). I'm 100% certain all these nurses in the hallways had already washed their hands after leaving their patient room. As nurses, we are more expert than most of the common layperson at hand hygiene. There is no reason to put this sort of comment here. But also, it's a habit to touch ones face, no matter how trained you are, it will still happen. It becomes a problem when you start touching things of potentially infected areas/things with or without gloves and DON"T wash your hands or change gloves. The ridiculous thing is when there are those out in public wearing gloves hoping to protect themselves and then you see them touching everything WITH the gloves on, the gas handle, their phone, their steering wheel, etc.

@SirVixIsVexed Go ahead and jump in a tank full of Bull sharks. But don't worry, there is only 2 fatality of shark attacks per year worldwide. While you're at it, go ahead and get in a room with sick people sneezing and coughing all around you, but don't worry, if you get the illness, you have a good chance of recovering, you'll just get hit pretty bad ;) . See the problem with that reasoning? And btw, I have no idea where you saw the death rate was similar to the flu, it's not the case at all! If people stopped comparing covid-19 to the flu we would probably have a lower death rate by now...
