I'm going to check out the rest of the channel's videos to get a feel for the host's present views before forming an opinion. Keep in mind, this video was shot in 2021. I understand the animosity in the comment thread but, as someone who has been suspicious since April 2020, I can also understand how HCPs fell under the spell of the narrative. It's the same Kool-aid that was served to me when I worked in pharma. I didn't like the taste of that beverage then and I like it even less now. I got out before 3-years had gone by and I'm grateful that I was saw the corruption for what it was before I got to a place where my conscience could not stomach the stories I was trained to tell. Docs who believe they are doing the best thing for their patients are not looking for their gurus to fail them, just like we are not looking for those we follow to provide us with information to lead us in the wrong direction (and we should, btw). In my view, if we cannot move beyond the blame game, we are never going to get to the place where those who are truly responsible for this festering chancre of a lie.... ahem...anyway. If we can't get over it, they get away with it. I am putting my focus where it belongs.... contacting my MPs to let them know that they work for me and not the other way around.. We need to keep our government in check by reminding them that they are to be feared by the people and not the other way around. (FYI, for you "fact-checkers", check yourselves. That latter sentence is an expression and not a threat 🙄.) Stay close to your friends, family and neighbours. If you do not know your neighbours, now is to the time to start forging those relationships. Consider this: If you no longer had access to phone, internet or power, could you walk over to a neighbour's home to figure out what to do next. Would your neighbour be afraid of you and lock their door or would they welcome you? Don't let our leaders divide us. We are strong in numbers and we can survive anything if we are part of a community. Food for thought.

I worked in a call center doing contact tracing for a company due this disastrous time. At the top of 2022 when boosters were out and reopening was happening the company decided to have opening at many locations and people gathered for opening parties etc. And then it broke loose! The call center became a mad house. 500 calls in a day! All these people got sick and surely we had to ask the vaxx status to document it; and they were all vaxxed. There was a particular woman who had 2 boosters and she ended up in the hospital! So! There!

My condolences to Paul and his family. A very sad story to have to share with your viewers. As an aside, I worked for Pfizer in the mid-late 90's. I learned about the things pharmaceutical companies (including Pfizer) do during their clinical trials. This "vaccine" roll out is/was a Phase 4 clinical trial on the public where the vaccinated are/were in the "test group" and the unvaccinated are/were in the "control" group. This particular clinical trial 'ends' in November 2023, exactly 3 years after the roll-out of the "vaccine". It was explained in the beginning by the CDC and Pfizer that this is/was a 'clinical trial". Somehow, this information was not further explained to the public. Instead, the campaign to persuade people to make the choice to receive the "vaccine" was emphasized. Without going into details, my experience working for Pfizer on other clinical trials during the mid-late 90's is the reason why I did not choose to get the "vaccine". I have never gotten sick with SARS-COV-2 despite being surrounded by "vaccinated" individuals who were sick & had tested positive for Covid on multiple occasions. Maybe my immune system is strong or maybe I am just extremely 'lucky'. Either way, due to my knowledge & experience working for Pfizer, I will still choose to NOT receive this "vaccine".

This was so heartbreaking to hear. I lost my father to suicide on January 9th, 2021. When covid first came about, my father, having COPD, was so afraid to even leave his house. He became a recluse. I remember my entire life he had always talked about the end of the world and other things like the end of the world. He was also very political, so he listened to the hysteria. I could see the fear in his eyes when he would talk to me about the virus. I tried so hard to reassure him and try to let him know that things would be fine. Little did I know that the morning of January 9th, he would end his life. I heard the pop from next door, but I didn't really think much of it. Seconds later, my mother came out screaming my name and yelling that my father had shot himself. I immediately ran into the house, hoping that it wasn't life-threatening. Everything went slow motion, and as I remember it, it is in black and white. I can not get into detail about what I saw. However, after the ambulance and law enforcement left, my wife and I cleaned the room of what was left so my mother wouldn't have to. I know for a fact that it happened because of how the media hyped up the virus. I know it was also because of how political it got and how divided we became because of it. I am still so hurt and angry, but I don't know where to place this anger. My heart literally breaks when I hear what others have gone through. I am sure covid will leave a lasting wound on a great many people. Things didn't have to go like they did. I'm sorry for unloading like this, I don't usually talk about that incident publicly.

That’s incorrect… There is research about previously infected people and most of them to have a very highly robust antibody response however getting vaccination boosts even higher. I wish people would stop looking for excuses and just get the damn shot so we can end this. This is not a political issue and at this point, anyone who chooses to be unvaccinated it’s probably going to end up in a bad way. It’s very simple.

@@jnewmark41 "anyone who chooses to be unvaccinated it's (sic) probably going to end up in a bad way." - this is just simply not true, and is exactly the sort of thing zdog wishes people would stop saying. It is almost completely based upon your personal risk profile. If you're young and healthy, you probably will NOT "end up in a bad way". We need to be realistic and honest about the risks of covid. When people make clearly incorrect, blanket statements it increases vaccine hesitancy.

@@jnewmark41 You realize it is estimated that between 20-30% of the US population is immune to COVID naturally the day it arrived, the data I have seen lately show that those who have had COVID have better immunity and believe to be life long protection. Read the data on side effects over 13,000 death, close to 600,000 reported side effects some now believed to be life long, you are rolling the dice on something that even now approved by the FDA is a political move. Have a great day while you can.
@kdub3288
@kdub3288 2 жыл бұрын
@@jnewmark41 It seems like you and many others only look at the “pros” of getting vaccinated and don’t actually look at all the data. Many studies have now shown that people that have already recovered from having covid actually still have a verrrry low percentage of getting covid again without being vaccinated. So if I can still get covid while being vaccinated but I already have had covid and recovered then I don’t see the benefits outweighing the concerns of the current vaccine with all these reports of side effects and even death hours to days after getting vaccinated. I am not anti vaccine but it’s sad that you can’t even question the risks of a newly rushed vaccine that can’t even prove has no long term side effects (since it hasn’t even been 18 months) is just scary and disturbing. It takes an average of about 6-7 years of studying and researching a vaccine before they can declare it safe both short term and long term with minimal side effects. You need to do your own research because the media and CDC does not willingly come out and present the true data of the vaccine on a silver platter to you. Yes you can find the data but you have to look for it. It may surprise you. Can’t you see how they have already manipulated you. First it was “Get vaccinated and you won’t need to mask up anymore”. Well that quickly changed after they realized the vaccine isn’t working how they thought. If they’re already wrong about how it’s supposed to work, then what else might they be wrong about in the future with the vaccines. If you think the lockdowns and masks are going to end when 90% gets vaccinated, I would bet my life savings that you’re wrong. You think they really care about our safety and we’ll being?, they literally just abandoned Americans and allies in Afghanistan just to say that we needed the war. Yea that really sounds like they have our best interests in mind.

@Eric Bauerfeld I agree with you, I really do. I would just ask that you allow a little grace in this for the healthcare workers who have been at this for over a year now -- we've had to listen to every argument about this from the beginning (whether it's even real, over masks, now the vaccine) while we've been working ourselves to the bone and watching far too many people die. It feels like people who say these things don't care that some of us have been dealing with this for a year+. And we are so tired. We should always treat each other with kindness and respect, but please know that right now a lot of our compassion is wearing thin.

I think people are getting weary of showing compassion. Anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers are so militant and in your face constantly, it's getting really old, especially when those of us who have done our part than get to deal with the aftermath. This whole 4th wave could have been way less severe if it weren't for the politicians and conspiracy nuts. At what point should we be able to be frustrated? If i was frontline healthcare i would be pissed at this point.

@@RATM1971 I am actually seeing it the other way around as a nurse. They are not anti vaxxers. The vast majority have gotten all previous traditional vaccines but have been yelled at & accused of killing grandma for almost a year now. Absolutely no one who has already had a loved one pass deserves to feel that guilt on top of the emotional pain. Basically NO ONE wants someone they love to pass away this way-- and it really disgusts me when people have so little empathy that they try to BLAME people for someone's death in this way.

Different but similar for us. My wife's 92 year old grandmother has lived with us for 12 years or so. We're very careful and looking out for her with covid, although not paranoid. We all got vaccinated we're doing it, two doses. A few weeks ago, she complained of a little back pain when she was breathing in. The next day my wife checked her O2, and it was in the low 90s sometimes upper 80s. Given how covid deaths go, the one thing Grandma did not want was to pass away alone in a hospital room with COVID-19. She convinced her to go to ER where they did two covid test, both negative, and a CT scan. They said it was pneumonia in the lower portion of the right lung. I checked her in the next day to the same hospital and our little town, started her on antibiotics and O2 of course. Her doctor said that she didn't understand, everything she saw in the X-ray pointed to what she called covid lung. They sent her home on 3 litres per minute of O2, but after 1 and 1/2 days we struggled to keep her O2 even in the high 80s the next day we called the ambulance and they struggled to keep her in the seventies as she was rushed back to ER. This time, after two more covid tests showing negative, our little hospital sent her all the way into Tucson after overnight observation and struggling to keep her O2 up. Another code test, and another CT, the "pneumonia" had completely covered both lungs and just those few days. Now a second doctor tells us she's testing negative, but what I'm looking at in the scans is what we see in covid. We're going to require staff to protect themselves as if it's covid, but we would just ask for you all to wear masks when visiting her. Thankfully they couldn't categorize her as covid, based on the testing and so we were allowed to visit and be there at her side just one and a half days later when they removed the oxygen to let her pass on.

I can truly understand what Paul has gone through. I’m a retired healthcare worker who worked with AIDS patients at the beginning at that pandemic. I had to deal with the death of a lot of my patients. As a healthcare worker it is never easy to lose a patient even when you know that everything has been done. I am a healthcare worker who lost my father to COVID. He was 77. He was also a retired healthcare provider. When this pandemic started last year in March my son and I went to stay with my parents. They had an apartment over their garage where we stayed and isolated for 2 weeks before being around them. We stayed with them for 4 months. I tried to help them. I even was lucky enough to have some expired N95 masks that I kept around for painting etc. I shared them with anyone in my family who wanted them. My families reaction was that I was over reacting. They called me the mask police and didn’t understand why I was so worried. I would try to share the current medical knowledge with them. After 2 and a half months or in June 2020 my Dad got sick. He didn’t want to wear the mask I gave him and thought COVID was just a bad flu that was being politicized. After about 7 days of fever and cough he went and got tested. Three days later his test came back positive and then a few days later he went to the ER and was admitted to the ICU. He was in the ICU for 5 days and his oxygen level was not improving. They wanted to put him on a ventilator but he refused. He was gone the next day. Because my mother, my son and I may be positive they would not let us see him. My mother turned out to be positive. My son and I were never tested because we weren’t’ showing the typical symptoms at the time. The whole time we were there I wouldn’t be around my family unless it was outside and socially distanced. I was ridiculed for that. This is a long story to say that I feel guilty to this day that I couldn’t keep this from happening to my Dad. I know it is a virus that I can’t control. It isn’t arrogance or that I think I am god. It just is this deep sadness that I couldn’t get him to understand being careful until the vaccine came out. I know I shouldn’t feel guilt but I do. I never got to say goodbye. I am just thankful my Mom recovered. Most of my family and my son I got the vaccine as soon as we were eligible. I believe in a patient’s choice. I’m not here to have the vaccine or mask battle with anyone. I don’t care what your political beliefs are. I grieve for the families who are loosing their loved ones to this, the healthcare workers who have to deal with this and the people that are having to deal with the long term effects of this virus.

My mom broke her hip and contracted Covid in the hospital but cleared it with mild to no symptoms. I thank god that I listened to you and trusted my inner voice. Your calming honest approach helped me be vigilant with my family and I want to thank you.

A friend is still in the hospital with covid. She has been vomiting for almost 2 weeks and I was told today she will need rehab when she gets out because now she can't walk without a cane :( she's thin and seemed so healthy so you have no idea how your body will react to this virus. Please stay safe.

I spent 10 days ICU/12 days in hospital up to 15L. My father lost his life even after being life flighted to a larger hospital with more resources to save him. My heart breaks for this man and his family. I wasn’t going to get the vaccine, but I encouraged my parents to get it. My husband got the vaccine and then I did. Just two weeks ago my mon got Covid and it spread through most of our family. Usually, asthma puts my mom in the hospital every three years. She also is diabetic and my dad has emphysema. My mom had a tough time with Covid, but she didn’t have to go to the hospital and she recovered. I’m so thankful for your videos and the vaccine. It saved my family. Prayers going up for this man.

Got delta, no insurance, lives paycheck to paycheck with small children and is unable to miss even a day of work however delta made her miss several weeks of work, and had to use a credit card to pay for the oxygen she needed to get home. An extremely expensive lesson for her.

Back in early January I was hospitalized. Spent 3 days in, then released. During my stay I received my very first COVID-19 test on Jan 5, 2021. The result was negative. I run, bicycle, take vitamin c and zinc, gargle with antiseptic mouthwash. Luckily, I've not been infected. July 23, 2021, I decided to get the 1st vaccine. My 2nd vaccine was administered on 20 Aug, 2021. I got tired of gambling. I hope I did the right thing bcuz I definitely fought against taking this vaccine!
