Worked 1 union job recently, worst fuckin experience I've ever had in the work field. Straight up kicked me off fork lift claiming I hit a pole in the warehouse, constantly claimed it was me because a couple people they couldn't name, said 'it was the white guy'. Kept telling me I'm lying, checked the cameras finally, found out it wasn't me and still wouldn't put me back on forklift and just shifted me to spots where I had to do impossible shit like running 2 stations at once and 1 of those stations never stopped printing orders... then the supers got together and made false claims and got me fired but jot before I got written up because I did something wrong all because the young female super over me had never been in management and also didn't care to take the time to know how to properly do any of the stations in her section to be able to answer any questions. She even laughed when I asked about the forklift deal and tried to say she didn't know anything about it.. never again... also the first time I experienced heavy racism.. and they say white people are the racist ones.. that's also the biggest lie ever told.

@@kaycecoplen4287 I’ve been a “skilled labor” union leader for 23 years and when I investigate claims like this I almost always find inconsistencies on management’s and employees’ part. Sometimes a guy gets into trouble and he gets exonerated for that specific issue but he’s known to have a lot of issues so we negotiate a change in work duties so they don’t end up fired in two weeks because we know they’re being targeted by managers and they will get caught for some other F up. It’s hard to explain this to the member as they don’t see themselves how both the other workers and management see them. There’s also the times when your local union doesn’t have a good steward or leader at the time and it’s the responsibility of the members to vote them out. At one of the machines for apple picking we would know it was lunch break because the machine stops automatically a minute before lunch hour. One time one of the volunteers stood up and left for lunch the moment the machine stopped, when he came back the manager told him that he would have to stay 2 extra hours because he was leaving for lunch earlier (no prior warning or anything). This same guy also tried to kick me out of the volunteer program because I looked tire while working, according to him that affects everybody's mood. Worst part was the volunteer manager sided with him and threathen me that if I still looked tire while working I would be kicked out. I was never rude or confontative, I'm just a person with low energy, one would think that doesn't matter as long as I'm doing my job properly.

That is actually a lawsuit. You can’t force someone to work through their break they are required to take. Every job is required to give every employee a lunch break if they work a shift for 8 or more hours. It’s the law. And if a company forces you to work through it and doesn’t pay you then you can sue that company and most definitely will win. And if their are witness to back you up then it’s even better.
